Scott3705 0
It's horrible because he might donk shove with hands that are worse than mine? That sounds ideal, not horrible.
Acid_Knight 2
All I can say is wow. You are never allowed to make fun of my poker playing abilities ever again after posting this hand.Naismith probably talked you into posting solely so he could mock you.I bet the turn 154% of the time here. I also fold to the river c/r most of the time.

That sounds ideal, not horrible. This isn't really a big deal for a call station such as yourself, but most people wouldn't want to be put to an all in decision with AK on this board. Zach6668 513
Exactly what type of pots are you looking to check behind on the turn, in an attempt to keep the pot small?I kinda felt originally like this was a good spot to do that, but I think the turn may be the weakest part of my game right now.In general, I'd be betting on draw heavy boards, when I'm most likely ahead, and then checking the river. In spots where the board is dry, I've been thinking about checking, and calling the river, or betting the river when checked to. What kinda of hands/flops are we doing this on?Or, are we just the same, or indifferent to bet/folding a 1-pair type hand on the turn, when we'll almost never get raised by a worse hand? In general, since I don't trust anybody, I tend to take the line that gets me to showdown, when they both cost the same.Again, that really only applies when I highly doubt villain is drawing.
