This is the first time the villain has 3-bet me. On the other hand, I have only played about 2 rotations with him (~12 hands) and he is so far running 17/13 (of course, over this small sample size, this has little to no value yet).Dissect my play. I've got a trap hand, should I release it PF, or can I peel a flop since I am HU and have position.Regardless of your opinion of my PF play, what should be my flop line here? How much should I raise?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Hero ($210.80)CO ($208)Button ($259.55)SB ($273)BB ($492.85)UTG ($776.20)Preflop: Hero is MP with Aclub.gif, Tspade.gif. 1 fold, Hero raises to $8, 2 folds, SB raises to $24, 1 fold, Hero calls $16.Flop: ($50) 4heart.gif, Theart.gif, 7club.gif(2 players)SB bets $30, Hero...?

AT generally gets you in trouble. Let's say paint comes on the turn. Now what? Or a heart? Or villain bets 124% pot on the turn?

I like folding preflop.But.... since we're here, I don't like folding the flop. I mean, we got a guy oop building a pot and we are deep. Lets find out what he is all about, take the turn card. He'll then be looking at a big pot, on the turn, out of position. He's going to have to define his hand. And we get paid if he's big hand and we make out 10. We also get paid on other scenarios and we gain valuable information about villian.

If villain is playing very few hands, then his 3-bet OOP screams strength. I like folding preflop. I probably call the bet on the flop and see what he does on the turn. If we don't catch an ace or a ten and he fires again, either he has a big hand or is reading yours well, and we fold.
