  5. Line check... almost checked river obv hoping for a check raise.... but figured he might value ship 66/77 or Kx.... thoughts? I really didn't know how to extract the most value since I don't know the player. I'm thinking now a c/r on the turn might be good, but puts me in a really tough spot if he overshoves (or a great spot...?)PokerStars Game #40118642770: Tournament #285020010, $200+$15 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level II (50/100) - 2010/02/21 16:49:14 ETTable '285020010 2245' 9-max Seat #7 is the buttonSeat 1: Beaverstyle (9150 in chips) Seat 2: Duffman08 (11300 in chips) Seat 3: browry (11700

  10. wow sick offer JC.I don't know if I deserve the opportunity, but when TJ staked me in the sunday mil I took 15th. LONGGGGGGGGG time ago, but I can still tell you every big hand that I had in that tourney. What's better is I'm positive I've improved as a player since then.I'll throw my hat in the ring... I would definitely never fold J9s w/ 30bbs, fwiw. Even though I've been kind of a ghost on the forum for a while, I'm sure many FCP'ers can vouge for me that I won't scam you, and that I'm a pretty solid horse. Besides, I'd love to win you like 6 figures.GL to you and your horses, you scholar a
  11. I can't describe to you how much I disagree with the bolded section. Suited connectors are hands you want in multi-way pots... why lose our ability to flop something big against many opponents by reraising preflop?
  12. rrumsey explained rather strangely (and incorrectly since we're in position on this hand) but I agree w/ the pot control strategy. Check behind on the turn while the equity is either way ahead in his favor or almost even. It'd be a thin value bet on the turn to bet Q10 having the flop check raise being called, since we're only ahead of draws and way behind sets and other TP hands. Also, we're vulnerable to having to fold the turn to a check-raise since our hand can't stand a re-raise and we'll have to fold.
  13. The only thing I can add to this conversation is that I currently play on cake w/ 33% rake-back and it is the biggest piece of shit poker site I've ever played on.
  14. probably the sickest call I've ever heard of... soul read
  15. Bet flop... about 1/2-2/3 pot is about right. Continue betting turn, about 3/4 pot. River is a shove.Trying to figure out how this is a tough spot. I'm guessing he rivered you w/ J8 because this is a completely standard "yum yum double me up" hand.
  16. Hand 1, fold pre.Hand 2, IPITS..... hero-call? I mean, I don't really know what he's trying to represent here, but if he's aggressive he'll push here to get you to fold 1-pair hands. You still have a large stack left like you said, but I think this is a pretty obvious bluff imo.
  18. Your first post was subtly hostile and arrogant. Is your argument that you shouldn't play hands unless you can fold them post-flop to aggression? XXeddie should be/is considered a solid $4.40 reg... as are most posters in this forum. Learn to have a little more humility in commenting on teh pokerz or no constructive strategy conversations will result. Or don't, and get ripped apart by successful tourney regs.Folding here is like throwing money away. Although, it's pretty obvious that OP posted this because he got coolered by Q10, we aren't going to raise w/ hands like Q6 and flop two pair, onl
