Actually you want to seek out coinflip situations in the beginning of a tourney. I can't find it but I found a cp article that supported it. The theory I think is that having a lot of chips affords you a big advantage later in the tournament (to gain more chips from other large stacks).

Best thing to do is get it out of your system by playing more tournaments--multitable if you are not already. When you're playing a lot of tournaments making the money doesn't seem all that momentous any longer.

Pokerstars just changed the time bank for heads up turbos from to only 15 seconds (even at the $230 level). This is ridiculous. I am pisssed off. Anyone else play these and also pissed off? I'm emailing pstars to complain, will be leaving if its not changed. Wanted to encourage anyone else who this matters to to also shout at them.

Yep, you do not want to sacrifice your chip position here. 10k is really nice once the blinds get to 200/400. a lot more room to work with. Also, his range is probably not as big as you think.
