  1. Look at the post count....This is an imposter Smash. You know he may have been a bit harsh on some people but smash opened up his poker playing for new people to learn from. He didn't say it was perfect but it was/is his style and he was bold enough to let people in on it. It's just a shame that people attacked him. It got to be a great pissing contest and when the smoke cleared no one knows who delivered the first punch. Was Smash totally innocent. No. Not saying that. But he was also a hunted individual by some and that was wrong as well.I admired Smash for his posts. If you can't learn
  2. http://pokersamurai.blogspot.com/It hasn't been updated in a while tho....
  3. You may also have to "Alias" the PStars and PP id's together. I haven't done that before but I do notice that Name ABC Pty and ABC Pst is differentiated.
  4. Actually No. Ann would be better than Garafolo but not right for a sitcom. Plus shes a Babe compared to Garafolo!!!! And that's not even debatable!
  5. Garafolo - Lame, Left wing, No Talent Hack that is as fun to watch as a root canal.Annie Duke - Ummmm about the same.
  6. Your theory of limping in with AA or KK is asking for two things to happen.. (as you've stated) 1) an Uncoordinated flop and 2) an person that is willing to call off all their chips when they catch a single card on the flop.If you are sure you are ready for the other things that might happen on the hand then I guess the risk is worth it, but what happens if the uncoordinated flop is 772 and the big blind limped in with 72. or if the flop does miss everyone and you put your big bet out there and no one calls.I think you are risking a lot and only getting a marginal gain. I agree that people
  7. Don't expect much sympathy when you come back here and whine about how your AA or KK are getting cracked by 56 or 78 cause you slow played it! If you don't make the raise you expect other people to build the pot for you? Do you expect them to give you credit for your large post flop raise? What's the point of the slow play, just to say you trapped them for the blinds? I just don't get it.
  8. Mirage 3/6 or Bellagio 4/8. $200 is good for one session. Depending on you're ability (and run of cards) you should be able to buy the Bride and Groom a helluva nice bottle of champagne after that ;-)
  9. Bellagio is $129 Sun-Thursday and $199 Fi-Saturday. You are required 5 hours of play per day of stay. I think they do allow you to split the hours among more than 1 person...but you'll have to check that for sure.Mirage has something close to that but I don't know the specific rates. I just remember that for the difference I preferred staying and playing at Bellagio.I just got back from Vegas in Feb...Good luck when you go and give us a report on the Wynn if it's open by the time you go.
  10. I loved Josh's comment when Daniel had Pocket Q's. "Q's? No, you never have a hand that good...."I thought that was hysterical! And the look on Josh's face when Daniel twisted the knife by showing just the one Q....He looked like he'd been hit by a truck...

  12. Just to be fair...here is Maureen....http://www.finaltablepoker.com/diary/000010.phpShe is a pretty decent poker player...
  13. This remindes me of the same old I hate Pocket Aces rant. Some people just like to complain when they've got the best of it. Sure sometimes you've got the best of it and lose but more often than not you'll be just fine. The same holds true for poker. If the maniac's are out in full force, you'll lose sometimes but play your best poker and you'll be money ahead in the long run...Ride the Wave as long as possible, just don't let the wave pass you bye!
  14. I am trying to figure out how and why they let you keep the A? No casino should EVER let you keep an exposed card on a dealer mistake. The dealer is not allowed to provide you or anyone else additional information on the hand. The A exposed gave everyone else at the table additional information that you didn't have on them. You are therefore at a large disadvantage. 1) I wouldn't play the hand if I were you and 2) the dealer should have issued a missdeal and started over or used the A as the first burn card and given you the burn card as a replacemant. What casino was this so I know where
  15. (The Aladdin tourney) It was a freeze out (No rebuys). Starting chips were kinda low (1500 if I remember right) and the blinds went up every 15 minutes. I went out with AK versus a 66 in the BB and he caught a set 6 on the flop. It was a very "Rushed" tourney IMHO. but for $60. entry it wasn't bad. They had 75 players to start.
  16. Tough way to go on the bubble...but You're doin better than I am...I busted out of the Aladdin $60. tourney in 26 and they only paid 8 so I wasn't even close to the money....Keep up the good poker!!!
  17. These are the results from the Wed Feb. 23rd. Bellagio $500 tourney....so 9th pays $1,116.001 David Daseke $22,310 2 Marlon Drake $12,828 3 Paul Campbell $6,693 4 Jordan Siegel $3,904 5 Ashok Surapaneni $3,068 6 Teddy Monroe $2,510 7 Stan Jablonski $1,952 8 Terry Fleischer $1,394 9 Steve Kaufman $1,116
  18. FIrst the talent level will vary greatly. Some people won't even know how/when to bet or even why. Tighten up at first get a feel for the players and then just play tight ABC poker till you get close to the end.I would say it's very similar to those $5.00 MTT tourney online. Most of all enjoy yourself. You sound like you are so wound up about this that you'll be afraid of making a mistake and then you'll end up making one anyway. Just relax, play smart and as we've heard other's around here say...just don't do anything stupid, let eveyone else take care of that for you.
  19. I say AJ for you and A3 for Key.
  20. Well, it's old news but here's a link to fill ya in on why he's been kinda busy and not on the poker cuircut....http://www.lasvegasvegas.com/pokerblog/arc...ives/000220.php
  21. Did you tell the police "Sorry Officer I was on Tilt after my set of A's got Cracked!" That should have been enough of a reason to let you off with a warning...IMHO
  22. The thing that makes online poker and B&M poker different is the Anonimity. If I make a stupid all in call with my K2 offsuit and hit runner runner 2 to bust someone out...I can just sit there and proclaim how brilliant I am and nobody is around to challenge it and if they do I just turn off thier chat. In a live card room tho....you've got a whole table of people looking at you like wow...that idiot just got lucky and everyone is able to give you a ration of sh!t about it.People make stupid plays online cause they know they don't have to ever face anyone about their ignorant plays...the
  23. With a Total Aggression factor of only 1.65 that would make you Slightly Loose, Aggressive, Passive. If you used the default rules....Tight = VP$P < 20Slighlty Loose = VP$P >= 20 & <= 30.00Aggressive Preflop = Raise Preflop >= 7and After Flop Aggression =Passive <= 2.0blank > 2.0 and <=3.0Aggressive > 3.0I know because my total aggression factor hover's around 2.0 and I bounce back and forth from Tight/Aggressive to Tight/Aggressive/Passive.
  24. Party Store's your hand histories on your hard drive. Look in the party folder, then handhistory, then by screenname and then by date. You can also request it be sent to you via email on one of the menu options (not sure which one anymore).
