  1. - Delaying your raise for a minute would've been assholish enough, delaying it for 10 is just a waste of everyone's time, and money. - And saying the delay worked is wrong also, Barry has already made the misread by betting the river, and pot committed himself to the hand. Trumper could've raised a millisecond after Barry bet, and Barry is still going to call. - And the reason nobody called clock is because in a $1o,000 Omaha event most of the players are top pros who are nice enough not to call clock on a guy they think is making a genuinely tough decision. In a $3000 NL event w/ over a 1000
  2. So the 5 are . . .WolfpackerRoyal_TourGadjetZimmer4141Smasharoo - I'm fine doing the money however you guys decide, Neteller, over a poker site, whatever. As you all have said, I'm a trustworth guy so if you want to escrow it fine, if not that's fine as well. - I guess the only thing left to decide is when we hold "the draft", and I figure that could take a while with 150 names (5 teams, 20 players 10 alternates each) to be taken total . . . Let's gamble baby . . .
  3. Smah, Zimmer, Royal if you guys want a 5th, Im it . . . I'll play by whatever rules you decide, whatever pay out and buy in you 4 want, if you'll allow me to play . . .
  4. - Here's my two cents . . . - Alot of this play depends on your table image to begin with, if you've been stealing blinds a lot, and not having to show people will assume you're overly aggressive, but if you've been raising pots then calling reraises all in, or showing good hands they will have to respect your raise. (Granted you cannot count on online plaers paying attention) - I'm gonna go against the grain and say it was the wrong play, in a normal tourney I would make this play 10/10, but in a tourney where you obviously cared about getting a piece of Chris so badly I'm going to say it was
  5. - In my opinion, the most money to be made online is actually in less popular games such as Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, or Stud, Stud Hi/Lo. I play almost strictly cash games, and essentially nothing but Omaha. - Basically when you play these games, you notice who plays every night, and who's pretty good, and don't get into a pot with them unless you have a monster, but you also can tell when it' s a guy who either doesn't know how to play at all, or doesn't play enough to calculate pot odds, or when to chase, etc. (You'd be amazed how many players raise w/ naked aces, then bet til the river thinking
  6. - I watched your final table, and played some omaha with you later in the night, just wanted to say congratulations, you played great and deserved to win, maybe you could take 10% of Lederer or Ivey too, now wouldn't that be an awesome main event for you (not that it already isn't) - A sidenote, this is one of the smartest promotions any poker sight has ever done, along with their Bracelet races, and nightly tourneys in which you can win money from whatever the pros win the next day Full Tilt is doing a terrific job of making the online players even more interested in the WSOP
  7. - I just wanted to comment that from a business standpoint, this makes less than no sense to me If' I'm running a poker gaming business, and I'm getting 1% rake from everyone, why does it make a bit of difference to me if someone wins all the time or not? The only thing I can figure is that they think all the fish you beat, are worth more money to them to keep on their site, than you who gives about $900 a month in rake.Basically the only way this even makes any sense is if they think that those you beat regularly are not putting more money into the sight, and thus not telling their friends
  8. - Thanks for all the updates guys, I didn't happen to go to sleep, and it gave me something to read all night, and congrats Jeremy on the strong showing, way to represent FCP . . .
  9. - MikeR, I think I might have played at your $5 HI/LO split table this morning on FullTilt, just wondering what your SN was and where you finished. (I don't know you were at my table, but they only had 1 hi/lo for like a span of 2 hours, so I assumed . . .
  10. - 2 or 3 items I want to address, some have been covered already, others have not . . .1) Raymer was easily one of the most aggressive players in the tournament, and of the final two tables, was probably the 2nd most aggressive player behind Arieh. Now saying that, it's awfully hard for Williams to put Raymer on a PP when he DOES NOT RAISE pre-flop.2) Raymers bet on the flop looks awfully suspicious w/ a 542 board. Williams read at that point just didn't buy the bet, so he called, I can't say I fault him for that.3) Raymer is absolutely a player who would bluff at a pot more than once, one o
  11. - Keep the updates coming jeremy, I am wide awake, and just want something to read . . . - Good Luck Man
  12. - Just so you guys know, FullTilt, PartyPoker, and Empire Poker all went down tonight, so I would say that it is safe to assume some others went down as well. I play only at Fulltilt and Empire, and tonight was the first time I've seen either of them go down in a year . . . - Hope that helps the bad first impression, oh and by the way, that 100% bonus is hard as hell to get at FullTilt, I've played at least 75 Headsup 10 dollar buy ins, and only made 20 bucks.
  13. Ivey vs. Gus would be my personal choice. - Also though 2 people who know each other and play with each other all the time would be a lot of fun to watch . . . Greenstein vs. Doyle or Demetrieu vs. Luske as an example. - In my final 5, I want Ivey, Hanson, Luske, Flack and Arieh
  14. Yes this is a DN forum, bot that doesn't mean that what Barry said is wrong. I grew a ton more respect for Greenstein and Co. with Lederer's comments on the big game, saying he couldn't play in it right now.One thing I wanted to bring up, if you had to place your entire life savings on a heads-up matchup between any of the 5 people Greenstein said were the 5 best (Barry, Doyle, Phil, Chip, Chau) and DN who would you take? I honestly would rank DN below those 5, and I love DN, but I think he'd be placed in a 2nd tier (6th-10th best in the world) where I'd put him with Lederer, Gus, Chan, and
