  1. Endgame was not easy. At all. A few IMs:[23:44] Zimmer: at this point you've really gotta do nothing but fold and raise/shove AA and KK right?[23:44] Bizzle: well[23:44] Bizzle: yeah kinda[23:44] Bizzle: i'll be raising once per round[23:45] Bizzle: just to keep the stack afloat[23:45] Zimmer: gotcha[23:46] Bizzle: problem with folding in is in the one 2 or 3 weeks ago, blinds got to 2.5k-5k before the bubble burst[23:46] Bizzle: so i dont wanna have 32k or some such when blinds get to 2k-4k[00:30] Bizzle: god i am so annoyed right now[00:30] Bizzle: i'm gonna have 32k at 2k-4kAnd from there
  2. I won my seat to this particular event yesterday, so I'll be playing in this one.
  3. No, god no. Don't wanna go through that again.
  4. I'm like 95% right now on playing.
  5. Tehtoe and Ship_itt, why the hell don't you play the 650? Makes no sense not to.Early 109, then maybe go hit some balls, then 650 and maybe some other stuff tonight.
  6. The 150 seat gtd on tilt and the 200 seat gtd on stars are on different days, which means there is no such thing as Satellite Day.
  7. Giggle. I was kind of wondering how many people went to reply to my comment and then saw the hidden comment and got it.In all seriousness though, I really think no holiday is anywhere near as important as Memorial Day (although Labor Day is close because I'm a laborer amirite?!?). We really don't pay enough respect to the armed forces and all they do for us. In actuality, it's probably close to impossible to pay "enough" respect to them in any sort of verbal fashion.
  8. Who? Just kidding, this is the most important holiday of the year.
  9. This is gonna be a big year for Zimmer, I'm really confident he has a great shot at making a WSOP final table.
  10. Unreal. Absolutely unreal.Ron stop playing ****ing steps. Steps are seriously such awful value, unless you're either direct buying into step 6 or are the best sng player ever they are impossible to beat the rake. The best possible ROI for sngs is like 15% so beating them is impossible from step 4 or below. If you want to win a WSOP seat (aka you want a decent shot at a random 12k) try to sat into the 650-I'm not kidding when I say that it is ridiculous value. 50 seats, are you kidding me? The fact that there are 500 people registered each week before direct buys start occurring should gi
  11. Damnit, had I come home last night and found this I would have had a quality rant. Unfortunately, not so lucky. My earlier post that gobears found is exactly how I feel about steps-the value in them is hugely diminished by the fact that you're paying more and more rake from every step you win, along with the fact that you have guys like busto_soon who direct buy step 6 and win 100 seats. The 650s on Sundays right now are ridiculous value-it used to be that they would get 25-30 seats for each one, this year they are getting a solid 50 seats every single week. If you want to play steps, I woul
  12. He decided to change that opinion with the cover story in this weeks' SI. I mean, I enjoyed it because he writes well, but...yeah, go read it and you'll see. I think all brv-napa interactions from now on should be by sick thread. That also gives the added bonus of other people around the office being weirded out by them never talking to each other.
  13. Prolly going to, 78th in the 650 today when they were giving out 49 seats ghkahfakhfdghafkadfgka. But in all seriousness, like I said earlier, hang in there kid, speedz is prolly right about life sucking for a bit but you'll pull through, you're still good peeps.
  14. One of my best friends is graduating Saturday from Notre Dame, and I'm friends with several other senior swimmers out there. None of them had heard about this at all. Guessing these events won't be too popular with seniors (but might be with underclassmen).
  15. Selling T$ at less than 99.5% and W$ at less than 98.5% is pretty lol.
  16. Further. You said that it would drive him "farther" underground. "Farther" relates to distance, "further" is a definition of degree. You should have said "further". No more than you challenged Coleridge.
  17. Still in, 176600 going into day 2, I'd imagine average is somewhere in the 120k range. Still a lot of people left. I had a lot of wild hands, most of which had something to do with someone exposing cards, but it's late and I need sleep. Look out for the gum.
  18. Reg'd for this tourney last night and got table 1, seat 1. I think that's the first time that has ever happened for me-kinda weird.
  19. Yep. BwahahahahaOh, and the beans rant was classic, as was the speedz story. Just some very solid stuff all weekend.I just got back from a funeral for my grandmother in Baltimore. Drinking started at 10, funeral started at 11. I think she would have liked that. This was a woman whose last note to my mother said "If you have to have a memorial service, tell the lay readers to read slowly, and no fucking eulogy."Off to Mohegan Sun Tuesday night for their $1500 tourney on Wednesday.
