Low Stakes Sunday? Does learning Razz at 10¢/20¢ count? That's what I'm in.

You would have won that bet if I had taken you up on it. I just finished my next set of 10, and won only 6 of them.:(Unfortunately, I faced several calling stations and never caught any cards. I kept trying to bluff them and they would call be down with mid pair -- ouch. By the time I realized they were calling stations I was far behind.

The Daily Show rocks. I love it when they show politicians contradicting themselves -- and its so easy, too!

Finished watching all of them. I'd say the best was season 4, followed by 2, 1, and 3. They are all definitely worth watching though.

What I love about these is how I actually can play creative poker to win. In one of the more memorable hands, I had nothing and a dangerous card that made a straight/flush hit. Well, obviously alot depends on the luck factor. A player with a higher luck factor will have about 35 outs with suited connectors, while a lower luck factor player will have roughly 24. Still, a lower luck factor player will have more outs than someone with aces no matter what.

Hurricanes are really important, actually. The southeast was in a huge drought a while ago, and the regular rains from cold fronts just couldn't keep up. It was a hurricane (I forget which) that that brought the necessary water. Also, hurricanes redistribute heat energy from the equator to the poles, which is even more important. Trying to use their existence to disprove God is ridiculous, quite franklin.

Heh, I was at the beach in Alabama and had to cut my vacation short. It looked as if it would strengthen to a category 5 by the time it hit, but it's looking like it won't be as bad now (3 or 4), so that's a relief. People are taking this one very seriously, especially in New Orleans.

Ahh, I see that if I get the 9000 points, then I can get, say, Ace On the River and Super/System 1&2, which are worth $63.67 on Amazon (not including shipping), and still have 800 points left over. I actually learned a major lesson about the amount to bet during the tourney though, so it wasn't just a waste of money. The lesson is so obvious to non-noob players that I would be embarrassed to explain it though!

Sup guys, I've done some research on this: In this forum, I searched through many threads and the general response was "Nope, Pokerstars doesn't give bonuses." However, many of these posts were from, say, 2005. I did a Google search and lo! Almost every result was advertising the not-so-exclusive $50 first time deposit bonus. However, FlopTurnRiver seems to have an offer where you get $25 after you collect 100 FPPs. Is there some sort of catch that I'm missing here? I don't see any time limits on it. Here's the link.
