  1. I can find no forum topic discussing "Handsight" which is supposedly software that allows PokerStars players to see others hole cards after the flop. Has anyone else seen it or know anything about it?http://poker.d2gamehacks.com/handsight.html
  2. If you click on the dealer tray and select "add more chips", you can rebuy to the maximum beginning stack. If you do this while you are in an active hand, it will add the chips at the end of the hand. Don't know if that is happening here, but it's possible.
  3. Playing a 1-2 nl gme and drew KK in early position. I bet out 10, got 3 callers and a raise to 30. Back to me preflop I go all in with about 120 total. Three others call my all in, all with smaller chipstacks. By the time the board was dealt, my hand was third best.If this is enough info for an analysis, did I make a good play with a bad result, or a bad play?
  4. Tried to access it and get the server main page. Are you sure about the URL?
  5. Sorry, I don't buy it. "How was I supposed to know i'm underage?" Most of the time the real thing going on is the person chooses to believe what he wants to hear. All of the time, the truth is seven digits away on the nearest telephone to a reputable source. If one really wants to know, it's easy to find out.
  6. I started using Poker Analyst at Cardplayer last week. When I logged on today, all of my previously recorded stats are gone. The page greets me by name so it cannot be a login problem.Anyone else lose their stats?
  7. I am not a long time player, or a long time forum resident. Please indulge me.Would someone please point me to a good source for an explanation of standard deviation/variance. I am using Cardplayer's Poker Analyst, and really have no idea how to use or interpret the Standard Deviation figure. Thanks
  8. Not really. The state does lose the power to "ban gambling" but not to regulate it, such as allowing only certain forms, or certain locations. It still has the power to ban certain types of gambling. It will be interesting to follow the evolution, though.
  9. Why is it listed as "mixed games"?
  10. I second that response. Great place to learn tournament play. Most players are friendly and talk strategy openly. The articles by pros should not be overlooked.Good Luck
  11. Please indulge an ignorant question. For limit games, does the BB refer to Big Bet or Big Blind? Thanks
  12. I'm one who will watch any poker show at any time. But I had to turn this off for good. Any resemblence between poker and this joke is purely coincidental. It's nothing but poorly written "men are pigs, women are ho's" trash.
  13. I'd like to take you up on that. You'll have to come to my place though. I got no braille maps.
  14. Okay, REALLY stupid question. Do pot odds have that much relevance late in a MTT? I ihought pot odds were a tool for the life of a ring game player to help assure better chances of profit over the long term. When you are facing elimination in a tourney, aren't other factors more important?I understand that when you are 2-3 spots from blinding all-in, grab the pot odds if you can get them, but what about prior to that point?
  15. I'll join youin this (even though I've lost a few good pots to you on PSO) I am also in the same situation - in MTT play, I either sink quickly to oblivion, or soar to the chip lead, only to waste it away somehow. One thing that has helped me tremendously is an article I just read at cardplayer.com. In the magazine section, there is an article by Bob Ciaffone (NYIsles forgot to mention the wealth of great articles at PokerSchoolOnline, btw). It's called "Going All-In with AK". It has changed the way I play many hands, especially when I am shortstacked. It has also prompted me to se
