What I'm trying to say is now the family has more pressures of having to help the "victim" go on about his life, and that will ruin, destroy families, unlike in death the family will have a grieving process and that is less time consuming than trying to fix someone. There's a huge difference between thinking and doing, doing shows the inability to deal with pain. I honestly wished he succeed because the burden he's now putting on his family is a lot harder to deal with than putting him in the ground. Suicide is a horrible thing, but from what is usually taught about suicide, the way in which he attempted it can just be looked as desperate desires for attention. If you have access to the Loveland/Fort Collins Airport, DIA, or Colorado Springs its actually cheaper to fly to Vegas once a month for a weekend or during the week and use some of the mailer comps. Also most of the Casinos in Colorado close at 2am, so action is dry in the early am/afternoon, so why not go to vegas for 300$ (cabs,food,hotel for 3 days) and be able to enjoy some decent sized games? Also the private card rooms up north are pretty horrid, nasty rake (taking it on a starter game of 3-4 players, wtf).

I'm excited for Dexter in the Dark... Jeff Lindsay knows how to make an easy, enjoyable read suspense filled, so I think that'll be the best part of it all, can't wait till this September

FYI in a few weeks book 3 will be released. I'm a die hard dexter fan, but gonna wait till its on tv, I believe the paying for it and seeing will continue the show's success, the only problem I have is how its creating two sets of storyline canons, the tv and the book and that in the future will hurt the overall marketability imo for continue commercial success after say a 4 or 5th season/book.
