This is a very close call, this is a very pushable hand, and your stack size does give you some fold equity... However. like Copernicus said, I think you have to be very aware of your table image here. You also have to be aware of the players at your table that are left to act behind you. In order for this push to work, you need people to fold hands like A-10 and 5-5, Do you believe that there is anyone behind you, that has seen a constant patter of your M play that is not afraid to take a stand with a marginal hand. Absolute Poker... a very underrated site.... most tournaments have 100-400 players and the blind structure is excellent... the smaller tournaments u start with 1500 with blinds of 10-20 and in the bigger tournaments you start with 2500 with the blinds of 10-20

I called preflop because I wanted to make it easy to get away from a bad flop. I also don't like raising because if we raise to 8k, I feel that we get check raised on almost any flop and then we are faced with atough decision. I think 18k in the pot is enough to push here and take it down right there. I don't think we can be behind an overpair because of the action preflop, besides the big stack. I also think if someone has a set here it will be tough to get away from either way.

Being close to the money, I think you can throw basic odds formulas out the window, as more people will fold if they dont like their hand even though their getting the right odds. Having said this, i feel like our post flop FE was far greater then our preflop FEI think he would have folded AK,AQ, or 66 through 22 after a flop that didnt provide him any help or maybe im wrong...

a friend suggested the stop and go method here. Being first to act we could call the 2400 abd push about 4k no matter what the flop is thoughts
