  1. No poker for the past week due to my computer dying, and I have exams until next week so I probably won't play until then. But I got a new computer, one of the new macbook pros. It's awesome and I'm so happy. Gl everybody
  2. So I have a beat unrelated to poker.I got this really nice laptop from my dad's work that had a broken screen and was out of warranty, so they didn't want it anymore, But they had the exact same model laptop that was broken, but with a working screen. Half a day later, I have one completely broken laptop, and one working laptop However as the weeks go by, the laptop starts freezing intermittently. Turns out there is a hardware fault in the model (ibm T42) from the graphics card screwing up, Which is what had happened to the laptop I'd salvaged the screen from. But the laptop only froze when

  6. Since your starting from basically $0www.donk2shark.comThis is a great place to restart your pokerjourney. Most of the stuff he is advocating is spot on. The most important part is br management. I think he goes a little overboard, mostly cos he is buying in for the full amount ($5) at 1c/2c which I think should be bought into for $2 since thats 100bb which is what you get at the bigger levels, However its better to be overbankrolled than under. It feels really good to be winning, even at these levels, and great to never fear going broke.gl.

  11. Lisandro for the win, about time he got a braclet
  12. 98% of the time I raise the flop harder, I was just getting so annoyed at the cards I wanted to get some action for once.
  13. obv the dreaded variance never kicked in cos 2 years of the same strategy has resulted in ~$600000 in winnings
  14. Then don't play Q7 oop for a raise because you are burning money. As played, this is live, your oppenant has JJ and made a straight on the river, He bet the turn because top pair repeated and you checked again, so your less likely to have it and more likely to have a 9 or a T (this is how tight live players think to the best of my understanding lol, I'm slightly fishy.) Easy fold even though its weak.Seriously, you yourself gave him a range, out of that range the only hand you now beat is AA, KK and AK, the rest of the range has you beat. How often is a tight player going to bet AA or KK on th

  17. from reading your blog it seems like you need a big adjustment in your attitude. I myself have played live on a short bankroll, and you can do this because the players are worse and reads are stronger, thus your edge is huge, however if I rememeber correctly your playing .25/.50 online with 90 bucks, and this just can't be done, BR management is your friend, Tilting becomes less of a problem as you are less stressed about the money. Playing within your bankroll has the added benefit of allowing you to multitable, which means that you don't have to put long sessions in, 3-4 tableing for an hour
  18. gar, frustrating day, my target bankroll before starting to move up to nl10 is $300 dollars. I started today with $285 and finished with $270. The same thing happened when I was about to move up to 2c/5c from 1c/2c, I predict a break even couple of thousand hands :(How do I run good?
