I have SS2 on order but as I've never been signed up at Doyles Room I have to wait for it's general release.

Sounds like a fun project. I like the idea of setting up your own on line games/tourneys in particular

I play @ Littlewoods purely because of the ease of cash-in and out with a debit card straight to and from my current account. But in order to do this the site has to block American IP addresses. As a result, the site is full of mad vikings who still like to raid and pillage us Brits :-)

I recall hearing Doyle Brunson saying (can't think where) he had to amend his playing style after SS came out because he had given his game away. So it can definately be a serious problem for players.Kinda like a comedian having to come up with a whole new show after their live DVD has topped the charts for Months.

Plant would definately be up there for me (it's an age thing) but on top would have to be Paul Rogers of Free & Bad Company.

I would have to go with 'NO' also.Tournement wins would raise a players profile and get them in the public eye but being well known isn't an essential criterior for being a 'world class' player of the game.

It's a tournament with no buy-in cost, ie-free. often with a cash prize but can also be a satalite for entry into another, bigger tourney.
