  1. He'd eat a homeless person if you dared him, he sweats Gatorade, and I once saw him scissor kick Angela Landsbury.
  2. Like Daniel has said too, if he loses he is getting a lesson from the best of the best in some of these games, also said that some of the top players have no interest in trying to totally bust Daniel since they like him and all.If anything once this is all said and done, even if he ends up losing money at it, he is gonna be even more well rounded in all the games I would imagine.
  3. Good question goose, and something I have thought about before. When just sometimes "something" strikes you about an internet player that you have little information on. I dunno if it is ESP, maybe just some poker instincts meshed w/ what we figure your "average" player would do in a certain spot. Had a similar thing happen to me a week ago, and was trying to decide if I made a "great read" or if I was just lucky to be right this time.
  4. That would be awesome, for the posts of 5 people in a row typing "1st!!!!~!!!~111~!" after each other alone. And yes, this is a post soley based on Pupsta's comment in another thread where he theorizes we get one dollar for every post. I have a lot of ground to make up.
  5. Glad I found the thread talking about this. Once I finally got to the correct webpage I looked for the thread talking about that craziness cuz I was too lazy to start my own. Anyway... er... welll... rock and roll?
  6. At least we can take comfort that Daniel has said on several occasions that he doesn't get bothered by people who go off the deep end on his stuff. And I sure wonder if all of us wrote as open blogs as Daniel does, what kinda crap we would get ourselves into. Perhaps the person who is OUTRAGED by the talk of going to war at the poker table a couple hours later goes to the bar w/ some friends and makes a racist joke or off hand comment. If we wrote for the world to see many of the thoughts we had, we would all "offend" someone else. And on the scale of how much offending Daniel has done, I still
  7. I gotta agree with Pupsta about the MTV market, but that may just be cuz of my strong dislike of what MTV has more or less become these days. But yeah, I guess I understand what advertising on MTV brings to the table.HMmmmm... is MTV still considered as hip and cool as it was 10 years ago? I am wondering, cuz I don't know.
  8. Slightly off-topic but...From Cardplayer earlier: Now I haven't been reading their updates for a few days, but when did they start going all "comedy" on us? Is this the new "hip, cool" cardplayer? Or just one lone event coverage gone whacky?
  9. You might need to work on your reading skills.I would say the sky is blue. Then people would come on and say "You are full of crap the grass is green."Perhaps good sir, perhaps.
  10. Wow, what a thread. The one thing I learned from it all was that alf13 needs to work on either his people skills or communication skills. *shrug*
  11. Just to let you all know this upfront.I can be bribed.
  12. Well, it is obvious what I have to do... get my post count up!! Sure I registered when the forums opened, but you ain't nothin w/o 1000 posts! 8) :-)
  13. i'll shoot a flame your way, just for being a hockey fan HERE HERE!!
  14. Sure I am probably reading into things too much here, but is it POSSIBLE that we could be getting FCP: The online poker room? And hey... even a snazy new logo soon to welcome it in! :-) I can only imagine the "soft" tables we would have... (sw)
  15. 3 card poker has nothing on Casino War at the Mirage. :-)
  16. While it would be just silly that Daniel meant for whoever plays him to fork over $500 per game lost, if he did try to do that, it would be so frickin hilarious! Can you imagine going there, pumped to hang out with Daniel, you enjoy the weekend...you end up losing most of the games, but get lucky on an all in preflop draw out on NL holdem, and a couple other games... but still lose more than half. You just get done losing the last game, when Daniel is all like, "That was fun, I hope you had a good time. Oh, do you have the three grand you owe me on you now?"...lol... that would SUCK!Please not
  17. Yeah, I have no chance in heck to win this as I can't even draw a stick figure right, but it sounds like fun, and good luck to those of you who are artistic! Seriously, this is cool and I look forward to hearing about your Vegas trip. (You better take option A!!)
  18. Easy there, killer. His face time, his money, his right. And like he said, there are legal issues involved. Props for putting up a good fight, DN, good luck in the other 8 against him. What he said.
  19. Plus, you get to see the lovely city of detroit!
  20. Staying on the strip, something like the Stardust has nice rooms and is cheap enough (just don't eat there :? ) Also stayed at the Mirage, and while it is MUCH nicer, you are payin for it.For flights, Sun Country airline out of MN was the cheapest we found. But then again, you are in Ohio, so that doesn't matter.
  21. First off, the competition of Full Tilt is very tough, especially the limit games, but all around it is much tougher than average. To clear the bonus, they recomend playing such games as 3/6 and the like to clear it faster, which is what I try to do.I played most of my online poker at FT, and it is a good way to get better, but not make a ton of cash.
  22. In that case, go straight for the masters degree so you actually will get that job and not look at the past 4 years as fun-time money pit.
