  1. i played 11 tournaments all different games and didnt make the money in any of them, which cost 30k. lost 10k mostly playing 75-150 mixed games although some a little higher. end result minus the 40k i brought. i look at it more as random chance in the lottery rather than something i did incredibly wrong, although i made some mistakes. im definitely going to try and satelitte in as 50k is a lot of money, but worst case scenario my bankroll is smaller and i have to grind out at smaller limits for a month or two, which may be a good thing anyway... good thing my parents are rich i suppose
  2. ahh, TY very much... i am gonna tyr the online satelittes but probably buy in if i have to... last year i went out and played 11 tournaments lost 30k and lost 10k in cash games, so i am thinking this year if i play this itll be the only tourney i play.. dont like spending long stretches of time in casinos anyway and would rather take a shot at this bad boy.
  3. nah i was looking to get some odds in my favor and make a slightly larger bet... im not sure if im even gonna play the tournament now but i still probably will, barring financial disaster... daniels point was that the tournament superstars from TV have no shot at a mixed cash game format, which this tourney is very close to, compared to the guys who make a living at 4 digit games. this is true, and im sure there will be several players favored over me in this tournament, so i wouldnt make the bet straight up vs. daniel but if he thinks i have no shot then i may be able to get a bet... this is
  4. ahh... bad news bears... haha kind of funny it was your idea and i referred to it as 'moronic'... well i understand the theory behind it being the 'ultimate test of skill' i just disagree with it... especially cause almost everyone can play tournament NL nowadays unless the stacks are pretty deep, but even up to 100x big blinds i dont think there a huge difference in skill, and will probably come down to who catches the best cards, yes same thing for the limt HORSE but at least 5 different games for someone to botch one... i still may play the tournament as i was really looking forward to it.
  5. what sort of odds would you give me on a last longer for this tournament? this will probably be the only wsop tournament i play... also, what about a bet where you get to pick 5 players (including yourself) and if i outlast all 5 i win, obviously getting some odds. if that interests you at all let me knowedit: oh, and thats contingent on the tournament being strictly HORSE... if for some moronic reason they change it a No limit final table im probably not going to play
  6. being as i was bored i did a little research and im pretty sure hes talking about kirk morrison. however the real question is, is "wild" bill gempel Mrrobert on pokerstars i would have to say yes.
  7. yes im sure that people with thousands of posts on FCP get laid all the time... (dudes dont count, sry)
  8. i cant even read some of these responses, maybe im tired. all i know is that if dreamclown were the one blowing through 70k in the same fashion, almost all of the posters in this thread would be taunting him, laughing at him, calling him horrible, and saying daniel when are you going to get in on this. It wouldnt be, guys quit making fun of dreamclown, hes just having fun. That's why this site is a joke. Regardless of who it is (unless its a friend of mine, or even worse- me), someone blowing 70k in this fashion is hilarious. Obviously Daniel was just having fun hoping to bust someone wi
  9. we admitted we are playing out of the same bankroll for 500-1000 and for games vs hellmuth, and sometimes we will take a piece of another player in a heads up match. If you really think we are going to share a bankroll at 100-200 so we are playing 25-50 you're out of your gourd. Also, there is over 400,000 on the dreamclown account. do you really think we would risk that money in order to cheat someone at 100-200, to gain what, five thousand dollars??? if you think about it logically, it makes no sense. At no point have i ever contradicted myself, we split the 500-1000 winnings and games v
  10. DANIEL, this is nothing short of absurd. I am the only one of the four who plays cash game NL, and eugene has played some NL tournaments. Other than that the other 2 do not play no limit at all. I would love to know who these sources are who have accused me of playing NL games at UB working with one, two, or several other players. You can slander us by citing an anonymous source and maybe people will believe you because you are the big bad daniel negreanu, but this is a low blow i wouldnt have expected from a man of your "stature". And after all your drama with Russ Georgiev.....As Joe
  11. Hmm, interesting... Any chance of getting 500-1000 in some of the other games on your site besides limit hold em? It might be more fun for you to lose your money spread over a few games, instead of just one. As they say, its ok to let the fish set the rules, so its your call bud.
  12. he's a very skilled poker player, you even said it yourself." Just to clear this up. I did play with you and then I was warnedthat you had a history of cheating, so I got up. I would havecontinued playing if I hadn't heard this. At the same time, I didn'tthink you were the sucker. You played pretty fearless and had meguessing on more than one occasion. I thought you played pretty good. I didn't want to quit at all, the game was still very good in mymind. There was another player at the table who was about to give hismoney away, I assume you ended up getting it. The only game I played w
  13. I showed russ some of daniels writing on the match with dreamclown, here is his response:The name of the game of poker is to win the money. Only a sucker gives a short stack a chance to win his money back. Only a 'crybaby' would ask to continue playing. If he wants to keep playing, put more money on the table. Who knows, this may be all the person has. Good gambling is risking a 'peanut' in Daniel's case to your friend big stack, which would have forced him (your friend) to gamble more.Fools play others who have small stacks on the table. Your friend did the right thing by quitting until Danie
