On a different note, I don't have to go into work until 11am tomorrow, so I'm probably going to play some 180's tonight. I placed 5th last night, 10th the night before and 3rd a few days ago, so I'm finally learning how to play these.I've made dumb plays at the final table 2/3 times, the only exception was my 10th place finish where I shoved and got called by bottom pair no kicker on a really draw-heavy flop. That isn't really a slow play. I guess the limp with QQ is a bit strange, but only if you've been raising a lot pre, in which case it makes sense. He did pop you 4x on the flop looking for value, and got unlucky.

I just watched this and cried harder than I have in a really long time at the end. It may have surpassed the amount of tears shed the first time I saw the end of "Men of Honor", although it's close. I agree that the movie could use more development and background info on Smith's character, but it kind of makes it more suspensful in that we really don't know how he's going to react to some of Rosario Dawson(who I desperately want to marry even more than after I saw "Clerks 2")'s actions. I noticed the structure of the 180's have changed since the original strat post. Not drastically, but the levels start changing when the antes come in.

Finally broke my bad streak in 180's on Stars and finished 3rd.Guy made an excellent/terrible call with 7-2 on a board of 9-J-2, after I moved in with 8-10.I'm a little disappointed, since I had the chips/table image that should make that a pretty obvious fold, but even if he calls, I have 14 cards and running clubs to win and couldn't catch, gg me.I played well though, thanks in large part to therrin's 180 strat guide in the tournament forum. I feel like these are going to be a big part of my game now that I know how to play them better

I browsed this post a while back, but didn't have money on Stars. I recently started playing these and did not have much success, so I reviewed this post to get some pointers.I played 4 of these tonight, busted out early in 2, am still in with a good stack in the 2nd hour, and was poised to make a deep run in a 3rd before a tough beat with QQ vs JJ on a 9 high board.One slight note since this was posted:The blind levels once antes start are slightly different. It's no longer 100/200 and then 100/200/25. It's now 125/250/25, and then 150/300/25.Not sure if this would change anything strategical

Only when you aren't here schnookems. It sounds like a pretty funny story, but when I started writing it down I realized it wasn't. My first bad trip happened when I tried to mix the two. It was horrible, and now I sometimes get flashbacks when I smoke. Either way pot makes me really paranoid now.

Well I started a story about my first acid trip/date with a stripper, but I got bored of it. It didn't have a great ending anyway, although I did blow a chance to get laid spectacularly. I just don't have the patience for this place anymore.
