Skipaments, on the other hand, require far less time investment - and the idea of winning a WSOP seat through a Skip gives me a little bit of a chubby.Below is a modified version of DNA's post with the rules:$2200 prize pool to be awarded for a $1500 WSOP event plus $700 in travel expenses.OPTION 1:20 people, $55, and 11 $5.50 Skipaments - Monday through Friday - 2 Skipaments each day with a 3rd and final skip on Friday evening. To be held via password protected private Pokerstars tourney.OPTION 2:20 people, $55, and 11 $5.50 Skipaments - all played in one night beginning at 6PM EST and running every 15 minutes thereafter.After each Skipament, the winners will transfer all their winnings to me to hold until the end of the week, where the winner will receive the full kitty.Each person must commit to at least register for all 11 Skips for proper prizepool purposes. If you cannot play in one of the skipaments, DO NOT SIGN UP as you cannot blind out in one of these and would be far more headache than it's worth. AGAIN, IMPORTANT: IF YOU CANNOT MAKE EVEN A SINGLE ONE OF THE SKIPS DURING THE WEEK YOU SIGN UP FOR, DO NOT SIGN UP. If you still sign up and miss a Skip, please understand that YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR $55 TO THE PRIZEPOOL.Everyone will be allowed to drop their worst finish which would take 10 tournaments into account for points distribution.Points distributed based on Pokerstars formula for 20 man tourny ... 90, 64, 52, 45, 40, 37, 34, 32, 30, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 22, 21, 21, 20At the end of each week the person with the most points wins the $2200 package and MUST play in one of the $1500 events of their choice.I like the idea of everyone that has participated getting some sort of rooting interest so everyone will get a percentage stake in the winner.Winner gets 50% of whatever PROFIT they win (example: cash for $2500 then they would keep $2000 and the other $500 would be distributed to the other stakeholders).Stake % may still need to be tweaked, but first thought was 1st 50%, 2nd 11%, 3rd 8%, 4th 6%, 5th 5%, 6th 4$, 7th 3%, 8th 2.5%, 9th 2%, 10-15 1%, 16-20 0.5%Results would be updated after every night of games in this thread.I also like the idea of making the prize pool a little bigger and letting people keep some weekly cash, but I think that may be a Phase II type trial. My biggest concern is for people who mathematically get eliminated wanting to continue to buyin as I'm not sure if the stake % is enough incentive. I guess it would be all about picking the right people to be on board.OPTION 1:Series will start Monday February 2nd and run until Friday, February 6th. Assuming there's continued interest - we'll continue to hold them every week thereafter until the series. The first Skipament of each night will begin at 9PM EST and the second one at 9:30PM EST. On Fridays only, the third and final Skip will be at 10:00PM EST.OPTION 2:Series will run Sunday night, February 8th. Skipaments will begin at 6PM EST and run every 15 minutes thereafter until all 11 have been completed. Do not sign up if you do not plan on playing all 11 Skipaments.Do not sign up if you are not 21.Do not sign up if you are not able to go to Las Vegas and play.For those unfamiliar with Skipaments, these are the rules:- Every hand one person MUST shove, and one person MUST call.- You cannot overcall, even if you find yourself holding AA after one person has called.- If it is shoved and folded to you in the BB with no other callers, you MUST call.- If it's folded to you in the SB without a shover - SB MUST shove, BB MUST call.- If a short stack is forced all in, one person may isolate with a shove - you cannot overcall even if short stacked and in the blinds yourself.- If two short stacks are forced all in, nobody else may participate in the hand. I know that sometimes we make mistakes in these Skipaments (I've made them myself) and overcall or overshove when it's incorrect to do - but since we're playing for something a lot larger than just a small buy-in Skipament - everyone who signs up must agree that IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE DURING THE SKIPAMENT AND OVERSHOVE OR OVERCALL IT WILL COUNT AS A LAST PLACE FINISH.If you're interested, ship half of the total entry fee up front ($55) to show you are committed to this and we will play 11 $5.50 Skipaments. I'll have to see if I can actually get get across for any of the events, I turn 21 on the 15th June and I believe my graduation is slightly after that.....*checks WSOP schedule*...ok I'd be able to make 3 events, graduation is on the 1st July. We can probably run the two jointly and just see which get more signups.Edit: Okay, done. Added two separate options. Should one or the other not fill up in time, you can choose to either carry over to the following week when we'll try and make it happen again or just get your $55 back.
