I have not seen him raise or call any hands from the blinds yet. He seems pretty aware of position and is raising 38% from the button.I have never seen him 3bet.Comments on all streets appreciated.

I'm +/- potting that flop. I'm raising that turn. I'm raising that river. If he's raising his button and dumping his blinds and not three betting, he is in the range of AK on this hand all day IMHO. If I get that river in this way, then I raise the river to around $8. If he shoves over that, I have to think. Prob end up timing out.

I like betting that flop for a little more than half the pot. If we're worried that he's likely to check/raise, then we can check it...but then raising the turn a small amount...say to 2.5x what he put in is fine. If for some reason we want to call there, we should put in a small river raise.

I didn't bet the flop because I thought there are very few hands that I beat that he will call with.I think I should have raised the turn, I don't have a good reason why I didn't. If I raise the turn, it is with the intention of getting it all in right?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comHero (UTG) ($27.55)Button ($32.05)SB ($24.65)BB ($39.40)Preflop: Hero is UTG with :3h, :4hHero raises to $1, 1 fold, SB calls $0.90, 1 foldFlop: ($2.25) :qh, :D, :club:(2 players)SB checks, Hero checksTurn: ($2.25) :ts(2 players)SB bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50River: ($5.25) :5c(2 players)SB bets $3.75, Hero raises to $11, SB instashoves~$39 in the pot, ~$11 more for me to call?

fyp.I bet the flop, but then I tend to bet a lot of flops. Otherwise I think you have to make a small raise on the turn.

Raising the turn is probably best, he will likely call with a King and then I can put in another value bet on the river.Calling the shove was a bit of a crying call. I expected he would just call my river raise with a King and not shove.I called and was shown 44. Betting the flop probably would have saved me money cause I would have likely folded to a check/raise.

This is a hard hand to get away from .. like I said ... when I bet the river and get shoved on, I might time out.

OTF, 4-handed, he calls with a lot of what you beat. Worse 8s, a pair of 4s, straight draws, pocket pairs, sometimes even ace-high, and backdoor draws (I see that more than you'd think SH, as if QJ here can ever do anything but miracle itself to a victory).
