  1. Hey, ObeyTheDog here (not sure why this is my posting name, but my FCP sn is ObeyTheDog).Yeah, been on a good run, the Big Deal was a nice win today, tough final table and I was glad to see Bodog Ari go out before the FT.That Franz guy played great at the FT if anyone knows who he is, he made some bad decisions that cost him his tourney life eventually, but if he had stuck to his gameplan, he would have had a great shot at winning it.Anyway, I'll try to post more often, after all, I will be the Protege 2, you should get to know me.
  2. Made me laugh. "I played it perfectly. I could just tell by the body language. I needed to "steal" that money in the middle with a massive overbet with my two pair. Gee, I always "steal" with the "best hand"."Guy needs to practice more. And it sounds like he WAS one of the 'suckers' at the table. And maybe the guy should play the 5-diamond or 5-star or the 50k HORSE event. Maybe then he'll see that not all events are like the WSOP Main Event. The ME is just its own animal now, it's own little bizarro-world poker universe that should not be judged with an eye for skill, but an appreciation of t
  3. ok not really. Maybe. Wait and see.Sorry, I was in the audience for it....BOOORING. He gets A-A like 5 times!
  4. lol you guys are in for a treat when tom wins the next PPT at San Jose in a few weeks.
  5. What did you expect? DN to come out with pictures of tubgirl and start making more fat jokes while morphing raymers head onto a manatees body?
  6. Did you even read my post?I said that I personally don't think he should have said anything, but that he's free to do so. Just my opinion.***I am not an expert on opinions***
  7. DN (respectfully),I don't think you should have gotten involved in this lawsuit by stating your opinions on a widely viewed and very much public video blog. I completely understand and support your right to use it any way you'd like and would defend that right above and beyond everything else.I just don't think it was 1.) very smart to do so given it only brings MORE ATTENTION to the subject, the very thing you are worried about and 2.) Without confronting and discussing the matter with the 7 individuals first (assumming you didn't). It sounds like you only talked to Berman and your own lawyer
  8. I never understand why someone must use extremes to get their point across instead of trying to make it on its own merit.I guess its just easier to blow up someone's words and twist them to devalue their meaning than it is to actually try to give a valid point.
  9. I don't find the "burn out" thread negative at all. I find most of it to be a good discussion about 'not caring' v. 'not playing'. I agree, positive outlooks are important though, and threads commenting on daniel's poor results are absolutely ludicrous (yeah, that one is for DN...)
  10. Heh, yeah it's fun out here for sure, lots of good looking ladies....it is vegas after all.But i'm kind of preoccupied and the only ladies i'm admiring have crowns. The only reason I haven't approached daniel is I guess I didn't want to come off as just some fan and I know how busy he is with everything...but I guess you are right, couldn't hurt to try.
  11. Sorry DS, but I did delete my other post so it's not duplicated. I just saw there was discussion here. :)Yeah, my br is fine, not worried about the outcome after all is said and done even if I go 0 for the universe the rest of the wsop. I got my main event seat already through satellite, and agree, will start playing more satellites for the smaller events, especially the 5k shorthanded nlhe. And no, I would never pony up 10k unless I had a 300k bankroll. I won all those through satellites, so while those haven't hurt my roll one bit.
  12. I'm going to be honest, if DN truly doesn't want to be there anymore, then he just needs to break for a little bit.I'm here in vegas for the month, busting my butt as a grinder taking his shot. I'm putting up about 10% of my bankroll to play in about 4-5 smaller wsop events. So far, things have not gone well, and as a result, decided not to play in today's event. Now maybe he forgot what it's like to truly put your heart and soul into these things, or maybe this is the aftermath of putting his h&s into the HORSE event and failing, but regardless, it's pretty demoralizing and a little insul
  13. It was about the comment he made, nothing to do with whether he is having a good series or not.I dunno, maybe it was just table talk taken out of context, like 'ha ha, I don't want to be here', but the way it read, I could definitely see some truth to it.
  14. On day 1 of the main event after he busted out and my buddy busted out, we were drinking his sorrows at the Rio bar and playing video poker....I look over and see Bob Stupak playing next to me.I tried talking to him and got curt answers and christopher walken like stares.Scariest 5 minutes ever.I'm not kidding.
