72Suited 0
So I was going through articles in the online issue and the thought occurred to me: why is this guy writing an article?Obviously, people like Negreanu and Linda Johnson are completely legit and I take their advice seriously. Scott Fischman? Okay, maybe. But Varkonyi? Come on!...or maybe I'm missing something?
ddudley 0
I was surprised by both Fishman and Varkoni being in CardPlayer. What's up with that?
theresa113 0
Ever heard the cliche that those who can not do, teach?Anyway, you do not have to be a great poker player to be a good writer.

Golden 2
A 2-bracelet winner and a World Champion. I don't see why they would be in Cardplayer :? I know Varkonyi is universally hated, but I have enjoyed some of his columns. And like it or not, he did win.

digitalmonkey 929
Scott Fischman is a very good player. I can't really comment on his writing ability because I haven't read many of his articles. I can understand his presence in the magazine.I'm not familiar with Robert Varkonyi's poker skills or his writing skills. I did read one recent article of his and found it to be very meh.
