im just looking to bet for recreational purposes(i.e. bet on the game i'm planning on watching that day)not to say i wont ever bet parlays but i mainly want to bet on games i'm going to be watching and also games that i feel are close to "sure things"so far i've taken a look at SPORTSBETTING.COM but i don't want to make any decisions until i here from other people who do this

this is a good point. people who are saying its because they can and not be attacked physically by the other person are simplifying the issue. i've noticed this for some time, and thats that online poker seems to bring out the worst in alot of people.i dont know if its because players see poker as a "war" and put themselves into that mindframe. if their defnces are up and believe everyone at the table is out to get them (or their money atleast). its not uncommon for players to develop hatreds/vendettas towards opponents who take away pots from them or even beat them legitimately. the simple fa

i don't really like the idea of being able to chop a pot preflop, and possibly throughout. (farha-elezra hand that was chopped before the flop). i know the other 4-5 players involved in the pot only had 600 invested but regardless.lets say player A raises utg and a middle position player calls. then, the button reraises big. the utg player calls and the middle position player folds. at this point, the two remaining players decide to chop it before seeing a flop.personally, if i was the middle position player i would be annoyed by this kind of activity/tactic and possibly even suspect collusion

67% is really good, albeit a very small samplei'd say if you can near or reach 50% cashes, you're doing welli used to play 5$ sng's on stars almost exclusively but after a while, playing them will drive you insane. There isn't much room for fancy play or "i think, he thinks, i think" poker. the majority of players who play them are not thinking and are just there to have fun and gamble a little.so to sum up, there is money to be made at 5$ sngs, the problem is you're unlikely to improve your game against this kind of competition

the guy made a really good comment about how they're employers should be the ones paying them adequately, not the customer. it sounded to me that he thought it was unfortunate that the system is set up that way. personally, i agree.as for spitting and/or other nasty s*** waiters and delivery workers do to these customers. i'm sure karma rewards them with much worse than the guy who didn't tip them. perhaps with 10 more yrs of delivering pizzas for a living

i dont agree that it's colusion. The guy with the kings put her on aces and her response to his questioning satisfied those suspicions. He's not a know it all, just a THINKING poker player that required more information. He then obtained it through conversation (sound like anybody we know on this site).if it was colusion, in what way did the guy who folded the kings benefit?btw, did your sisters kings hold up?

sorry, but i agree with the site on this one.they made a good point in one of the emails that they sent you when they said they have stricter policies against harassment towards pros. This makes sense as i'm sure there is a large number of people who enjoy doing just that.
