mbreon 0
I can't remember seeing 5 Card Stud on any poker site, though I am sure that a few have it....5 Card Draw & Stud seem to be dying forms of the game, which is too bad...especially after watching The Cincinnati Kid last night, now I am itching for some 5 Card Stud. Does anyone know the reason for this?I think it's died out mostly because there's not as much action as other forms - fewer betting rounds, and it's pretty clear when you're beat so not a lot of showdowns and fewer bluffing opportunities. Draw poker has a minor renaissance with triple draw (spread at UltimateBet, for example), but I don't know of any sites that spread 5-card stud.

hexag1 0
5 stard stud is not around anymore because it is boring.5 card stud strategy is so mechanical, basically, you only bet/call if you can beat the board..
Cory 0
Yeah, i used to make a mint at Royal Vegas Poker playing 5 card stud. The people call your bets when they can't even beat what you have showing.
