It brought all the old characters back to appeal to us oldtimers and created new characters to bring in a new audience. My first thought was Rey is Luke's daughter, but that seems too obvious. They killed off my favourite Star Wars character. I always liked Han Solo because he never let the movies get too serious...if you know what I mean. I see Dubey's point about Fisher as Leia, but like Steve, I love Carrie Fisher. I think she'd be so great to sit down and have a few drinks with. Link to post Share on other sites

First movie (I think?) which added shades of grey to each side rather than just straight up good (rebels) vs. Evil (republic) Link to post Share on other sites

I didn't like the last few minutes because it seemed disjointed from the rest of the movie and seemed Lucassy to me. I understand it, just didn't like the presentation.
