It took me a while to work out that was NL :PIf you're just running cold you really can't do much but wait for your hands to stay up. Are you using Poker Tracker or anything like that?

So today me and my friends got really stoned and decided to watch a funny movie, either evan almighty or ratatouille. Thank god we chose Ratatouille. Oh wait we didn't. Even though I was high the whole movie I barely laughed. You've betrayed me Michael Scott :(Then I played 4 tables while really high. Tables felt like they were going slow mo, and I felt like I had so much time to think everything through. Though I probably looked like Alex Jacob, I felt like I didnt make any bad plays, and even with a couple suckouts I was still + 320 or so.This video was sent by Jeet and had me laughing for a good 5 min straightFullTiltPoker Game #2884739191: Table Vasari (heads up) - $200/$400 - No Limit Hold'em - 6:25:00 ET - 2007/07/08Seat 1: pr1nnyraid ($48,598)Seat 2: perkyshmerky ($47,898)pr1nnyraid has 5 seconds left to actpr1nnyraid posts the small blind of $200perkyshmerky posts the big blind of $400The button is in seat #1*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to pr1nnyraid [8c 6s]pr1nnyraid calls $200perkyshmerky raises to $1,200pr1nnyraid has 15 seconds left to actpr1nnyraid raises to $4,000perkyshmerky calls $2,800*** FLOP *** [3d 8h Qh]perkyshmerky checkspr1nnyraid checks*** TURN *** [3d 8h Qh] [8d]perkyshmerky checkspr1nnyraid bets $7,000perkyshmerky has 15 seconds left to actperkyshmerky raises to $14,000pr1nnyraid has 15 seconds left to actpr1nnyraid raises to $44,598, and is all inperkyshmerky calls $29,898, and is all inpr1nnyraid shows [8c 6s]perkyshmerky shows [Kc Qd]Uncalled bet of $700 returned to pr1nnyraid*** RIVER *** [3d 8h Qh 8d] [4d]pr1nnyraid shows three of a kind, Eightsperkyshmerky shows two pair, Queens and Eightspr1nnyraid wins the pot ($95,795.50) with three of a kind, Eightsperkyshmerky is sitting out*** SUMMARY ***Total pot $95,796 | Rake $0.50Board: [3d 8h Qh 8d 4d]Seat 1: pr1nnyraid (small blind) showed [8c 6s] and won ($95, 795.50) with three of a kind, EightsSeat 2: perkyshmerky (big blind) showed [Kc Qd] and lost with two pair, Queens and Eightshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aolVYSMRw_0

Ended up with a solid day today, up just shy of $1000.August and September could become very expensive months for me, so I've decided that I need a bankroll boost before Turning Stone/FTOPS/WCOOP.So I'm going to stop playing tournaments for the rest of July, and just play cash games. I'm still looking to fill my quota of 20k hands this month. I've played 4,650 so far, up about $2100 over that span, plus a couple hundred in rakeback.

I'm not sure how the play usually is at these lower limits, but he probably calls if you shove for his $5 or 6 more. I think a shove is the best play because he probably isn't calling any raise with a pair of aces.

After winning a buyin early, I'm running like a two-legged dog and just staying around break even/losing some. Keep getting outkicked, donks make their flush, hit trips on their bottom pair on the river, etc. A solid example, get pocket Queens and the board comes 9-J-Q-10-A Not scary or anything <.<

Up $300 today: +$100 at 1/2 NLHE (6 max) and +$200 at .50/1 PLO (6 max). The PLO game seems so soft that I will probably start devoting half (or more) of my time to it......of course, that means I will have to buy the Omaha version of PL, but it will definitely be worth it.

Here's my graph for this month so far. You can physically see the dividing line between last week and this week: it is the very highest peak. Great first week... Not-so-great second week.I blame myself for this week's graph: I allowed myself to go on tilt after a few bad hands, and chased my losses while in that mindset. There's a roughly $200 profit not shown from PLO (6 max) play, so I'm actually at around +$1700 for the month. Here's hoping for that late-week rally...Jul1toJul14byhands.jpg

Just out of interest, I'm sure I saw a site recently that finds the weakest tables for you, etc. But I can't find it anymore. Anybody know?Merby: Yeah, there are tons of people who have no idea what they're doing in PLO. Get your money in good and hope you can fade the flush/pair/low :club:

Playing terribly. Just distracted I suppose. I stacked off with TPTK against an overbet which turned out to be a gutshot hit on the river (wasn't such a bad play by him, as he also had the nut flush draw). Bleh. Still, calling station directly to my left on one of my tables, hero called a bluff with bottom pair, weeeeeeeeeeeeee
