pookie_jurd 0
One more point on this. I don't think my non-sd problem is that I'm not aggressive or not winning enough pots with air. I think my problem is putting too much money in with a marginal hand and then being forced to fold. I've got to learn when to back off.Interesting.. I was thinking my non-sd winnings was because I was firing alot, but maybe its because I'm choosing the right spots to fire more ... hmm something to think about. Also, with my stats in other positions, what should I be looking at in the SB? 15/12 or something? fighter 4
Anyway, a few questions: [*]At what level does your image become a major factor in your decision making?[*]At 25NL AK is almost never ahead and rarely flipping aipf. At what level does this change?50NL at cake you will see alot of people get AK in pre. I think with all the data mining on the major sites that all the people that would notice image would have most of your pt stats so they will always have a general idea what your range is. Snamuh 0
50NL at cake you will see alot of people get AK in pre. I think with all the data mining on the major sites that all the people that would notice image would have most of your pt stats so they will always have a general idea what your range is.I'd say 100 NL, maybe 200 NL.Data mined statistics have nothing to do with image. Image alters the range that your stats indicate. If someone is appearing loose, one may believe that he is playing more hands than his 18/16 stats may indicate. He in turn may then choose to loosen up or tighten up accordingly in response to his own image.I would say at 100 NL people really start to take concern of how they are playing but I'd say at 200 NL, maybe 400 NL, people start really adjusting their games accordingly. What I mean is that, at 100 NL, someone may have just raised 3 hands in a row and decide to fold a hand such as KTs or A9o or something preflop because they feel like they are raising too much and someone might play back. But at 200 NL or 400 NL, someone may decide that he's raising too much and when he has a hand like TT/JJ/AQ, they may decide to 4bet for value. In this way, the players have noticed their image and have decided they can open up their ranges because others will have started raising them lighter.Edit: If this doesn't make sense, it's because I'm completely baked right now.
