Rated-R 0
DN sharing with us some of the hockey jerseys he has in his collection has kind of inspired me to add a jersey or two to my collection. I have compiled somewhat of a short list of jerseys I am considering. I would very much like to hear what you guys think. Please vote for your favourite of the bunch and feel free to give any other suggestions. I have provided a link to a pic of each jersey in case you are wondering what they look like as most of them are of the Vintage variety.Quebec Nordiques 1992 - https://www.icejerseys.com/cart/item_details.php?id=306Minnesota North Stars 1975 - https://www.icejerseys.com/cart/item_details.php?id=4017Winnipeg Jets 1994 - https://www.icejerseys.com/cart/item_details.php?id=311Pittsburgh Penguins Alternate 1985 - http://www.playersarena.com/nhl,NHL-Vintag...sey,M550V133AltPittsburgh Penguins 1972 - http://www.playersarena.com/nhl,NHL-Vintag...Jersey,M550V133Montreal Canadiens Red (Home) - https://www.icejerseys.com/cart/item_details.php?id=

gruven 530
I'd buy an original series worn jersey from the short lived tv series 'Power Play'. I'd go for a #14 Marshak myself....
Zach6668 513
The Jets uniform is soooo solid, same with the NorthStars. I would buy them all, except maybe the old 3rd Pens jersey, even though I <3 the Pens.
gruven 530
My real personal fave is missing: vintage Chicago Black Hawks. Best jersey going...

digitalmonkey 929
Ok.... some one please let me in on the inside jopke.kthx.Marshak: He doesn't get any speaking parts but he's often reffered [sic] as the team prankster and is also gets his good share of mentions in game description. He plays winger on Simpson's and Mapplethorpe's line. He's not there at the start of season one: he joins the team from episode "Brothers In Arms". Number 14. Played by gruvenhttp://www.g2creations.qc.ca/powerplay/index.html

And the producers turned me into a full blown character - WITH speaking parts- by the end of season 1....
gruven 530
btw, DM.... your research skills are ridiculous.... LOL.... can you find a picture of the jerseys? They were specially made Athetic Knits that had special material sewn into them to reflect the tv lights... they were worth 500 apiece... I have three of them.....
Zach6668 513
I didn't know you were such a superstar.
Rated-R 0
DM...That customized Crosby '72 Pens jersey is sweet! I am gonna customize any jersey I buy, but I will more likely put my name and number on it...BUT that Crosby one sure looks good!Zach...I agree that the old Pens alternate is probably the last one I would buy of the bunch...My original thought earlier today was I wanted a Jets jersey but after seeing some of the other ones I think I am headed for a multi-jersey purchase. aadams_22 3
If you guys know where I can find vintage socks to go with the vintage jerseys for my pickup games, you would be my hero.
gruven 530
I didn't know you were such a superstar. NAW!! I was just a good enough hockey player to fool the producers into thinking I was an actor..... ROFL AND... the show got cancelled, so it's safe to say NO ONE had any talent... aadams_22 3
You could try this site...I saw they had some Hartford Whaler socks amongst othershttp://bigstick.ca/jerseys/socks/index.htm Thanks for the link, but I am running into the same problems I had before...the minimum order. This site requires a minimum order of 12 pairs. 12 pairs @ $13 per pair translates into $156 minimum payment. I had found a site a while back that had socks from all the old teams, but they had the same minimum order requirement. I do appreciate your help, however. Thanks for trying. I thought it was a minimum of 12 pairs for custom made socks but I must have misunderstood...It makes sense they would want bigger orders. Have you tried e-bay? I guess I am gonna run into the same problem when I want to wear a vintage jersey at my pick-up too. I'll keep searching though.
