I'm not saying it doesn't. I'm saying it doesnt have anywhere near as big of an influence as you may think. I have never had bigger then a 1500 MD day and look how many settlements I've joined. It may "make a difference", but it's mostly BS.

I found several undefended settlements today. Domination/algonquin don't seem overly interested in taking over other people's settlements. I think you can only get bonuses for a certain amount of settlements, and they're way over that. Just in case I just beefed up my defense to level 7 though...that should hold off casual attackers for a little bit I hope.Edit: As I say that, did someone lose a settlement? It says our alliance only has 24, and I have 20. I feel like we've lost a couple.

Very lucky day. I think I missed about 20 more by a couple hours too, there was an Algonquin I didn't recognize who had a bunch of settlements in this general area. I wonder how much action goes on in this game? How much war goes on? If you had a premium membership you could do some serious damage I would think.

The corners of the map are super good for finding settlements. They put up a map the first of every month.

This is very true. Even if you could start from one of your settlements. If you had a choice that would be another way to explore different areas. Unfortunately have to pay to be moved. ohhh well

I'm really not going through the effort of screen shotting, but basically level 1 radar you get to see what is to your immediate N/S/E/W. It helps you move through the Volcano's, Ruins, Homesteads, Settlements while not wasting as much time on Dunes/Plains/Craters etc. Plus it makes it easier to find an Outpost when you want one, but ignore it when you don't.

Thanks for the info. Thats basically what I expected. Does radar 2 just allow you to see 2 squares in each direction, and so on? Can you see what is NE,NW,SE,SW, I'm guessing now, at least for level 1.
