smallwd 0
I need your help to settle an argument with my wife. I'm trying to teach her how to play (this is a hand from Poker Academy) and she says my advice was wrong. Please take a look and let me know your thoughts (I started giving advice after she made the min-raise)...Poker Academy #8,393, T#56No Limit Texas Holdem ($50/$100 NL)Table Poker Stars - Multi TableDecember 03, 2006 - 09:01:44 (EST) 1} Hero $2,460 3) Shonda $1,425 6) Rudy $1,176 8) Titus $8,012 10) Eliseo * $8,577 Hero posts small blind $50Shonda posts big blind $100Rudy foldsTitus foldsEliseo foldsHero raises $100Shonda raises $400Hero? trystero 0
I'm not sure how this works. Does everyone know each other's cards beforehand? Because if not then this is a push (first action) from the SB.
smallwd 0
My bad...stupid hand history left the cards in there. No, you don't know the cards before hand (although it will let you turn that option on).Has anybody else used this software? I picked it up for $10 and I like some of the options, but I don't know if it really helps your game.
copernicus 0
I dont mind the minraise, it has good deceptive value as long as an A doesnt flop, and occasionally, as in this case, you get a re-raise, which allows you to push back, which is what i would do here.
