In online poker you should always call if you the call button is the biggest button on the screen. If not, then i would call less often. in a live game call if gus grabs his ear and snorts. that means he's bluffing

I'm just going to assume all 3 of you are out of the blinds for simplicity. Gus Hansen open raises for 10x BB, you call, and DN calls from let's say the button. Theres $6300 on pot. Now Gus leads out with minimum 1.5x pot, and at the most 4x pot. I'd have absolutely no idea what was going on to be honest. I would probably fold for any of those bets with the bottom end of the straight draw against Gus and DN. Dn could raise etc which needs to be factored in. Gus is good at getting off hands from what I've seen and heard about his play, so even if I hit the perfect card I wouldn't expect to be able to get the vast majority of his money.Against a lesser player I might speculate with 10k, since if you do hit there's a chance you could get his entire stack. With the 20k the implied odds aren't nearly as high so I don't see any reason to continue with the hand. Well I'm sure you know how I feel about the $35k. Why is this in general, and why did I bother taking the time to answer this? Chalk one up to boredom.
