Do we give it up since it is so early in the tournament? Or call figuring that we must be ahead in this pot?
aucu 3
I'd put him on trip Ks as well but as an early limper you should have him out kicked. The only other thing is a set of 4s or 5s and he filled the boat, or a cold bluff. In the $4 180 (I havn't played then, just the $20s) I think you should call here, can't get away from the hand 990 to call a 1700 pot might be a bit steep.I call
copernicus 0
I think you have to call. Yeah he could have KQ, sometimes AK, but with his limp he could have flopped flush and/or straight draws or even two pair.
AcesOnFire 0
I don't see why he wouldn't reraise on the flop with a stronger hand. Unless he has so played trips and hit a full house (unlikely). I call though. More likely he missed something/has the king with weaker kicker.

The other half is the push on the turn.
rocketpoker828 0
I'm never laying this down in a 4+.40, if I win I have a stack to play with, if I lose fire up another one. Easy call IMO.

You HAVE to call this in a $4.40. The play is so bad in those. As an aside I made a final table of one yesterday and ended up finishing 3rd!

Would it change anyones answer if this was a $100 tourney with 180 entrants?

doublemeup 0
I call happily in this situation, if hes got ya beat oh well, you're not laying this down.
holyfield 0
you call here, either he has trip 4s or 5s or you have him beat, you definitely have any other trip kings outkicked....i see from these post people will reraise extremely loosely
ChrisRichey 1
With two to the flush on the flop, I probably would have raised there. As played, easy call.

ChrisRichey 1
Like I said, raise the flop. Poker sucks.
Briguy 0
Easy call that early. You could lose to KQ or a set, but a flush draw is much more likely. BBV.
