albasuna 0
Actually, I think age plays a huge factor. If a young-adult tries to prove an older man with alot of ego, usually the older one automatically thinks he is disrespecting him. I've learned people's ego/pride are broken very easy with one slightly wrong comment or action. But if that case happens to you again just ignore him, tell the dealer what she did wrong. Its not worth causing a huge commotion for a 1/2 game holding ace-king. If it were the WSOP or something huge playing for a million bucks then you should throw the gauntlet down! tskillz187 0
Being young is a huge advantage. Old people always think you suck and wrongly lable you as either super tight or super loose immediately. That being said, I think your problem has more to do with the 1-2nl than the age. That is usually the lowest game spread and because of that has the newest players, who have come to play the game because of the boom and think that they can do/say anything they want. hank213 1,823
It sucks that people think they can get away with acting like that in a casino. I don't think it has to do with anything with your age actually, I think the internet poker boom has really made it easy to berate people online and it's now translating slightly into live games. It's a shame.... ....I would have to agree that age has nothing to do with it. People have taken the attitude that yelling and screaming is ok because that's what makes great tv.... this poker boom has brought out alot of people who don't seem to be able to control themselves....These pretty much sum it up.
