Soriano would be nice, but we all know that isn't happening...Several sources reporting that Clemens may be dealt, but that could be wishful thinking as well. I wonder what the Astros would ask in return for Rocket? If we have to give up Hansen/Lester I'd say no way. I'm assuming that Papelbon won't be traded. Can we pull Redman from KC? I'd say this seems to be the most likely of any Sox deals happening today. I doubt that Mike Lowell gets traded, but I also doubted that Abreu would be a Yankee... Link to post Share on other sites

If Clement and Wakefield come back to be as good as they can be, I think we have a pretty great shot at winning the division. Wells starts tonight, but I don't really have any expectations from him this year. Of course, he did have like 15 wins last year. Andruw Jones would be nice despite his declining defense (still better than Coco), but trading two of our young, good, major-league ready arms for him is not a deal I like.
