Hey all, Just stumbled across this today while out getting groceries. Noticed an ad for a new type of poker site in a poker mag. Basically, it looks like Stacked, except with real money play. They toss in other stuff like character design, etc etc but overall looks pretty slick, and a nice welcome change from what static environments we play with now.Hasn't been launched as of yet, but they are offering a beta test soon (sorry actually its close to launch). Forgive me if this has been posted already, if so...flame away :POh, here are some screenshots...

i got the beta test e-mail today and am just installing it now.will let you guys know what i think.
Ahh, so the beta is still going on. I was a little confused after I signed up, because it did say any advance registration gets an offer into the beta testing. But upon reading through some of the back issues of the newsletter, it said it is winding to a close, and launch date was coming up. Well, if I get an invite, that'd be fine either way :club:

So far here's what's happened:It took 20 minutes to download on my laptopIt was so resource-intensive that it locked up my laptopI spent 10-20 minutes on the line with support trying to get them to give me a new download code for my desktopIt's still downloading on my desktop.AND I STILL HAVEN'T SAT IN A GAME.

I feel like I've posted this twenty times but that was my experience as well. Was fun to beta test and the thing had/has potential but IIRC it was using 300+ megs of memory. My desktop isn't exactly old either but it was just too much of a hog to play for very long. Hopefully they'll clear things up because it could be cool, though way less hands/hr than we're all used to.

i like the software, now that i finally got to sit down.but it was so laggy, that it was almost intolerable.here's problems for me:1) When I look at my hole cards, sometimes I see them, sometimes I don't, just because the framerate moves so slow, and the hole card cam expects you to be in and out of seeing the cards.2) If you perform a chip trick, and then look at your cards, the hole card came comes up, and you're still doing your trick. The hole card cam goes off, and THEN you look at your cards.honestly, i think if they can't trim down the resources anymore than this, they need to market this to casinos to replace tables (which would be gay), or hold off of releasing it until the hardware market catches way up with the software.
