What are your crazy antics that help you flop the cards you need?Mine is fairly simple: i have this necklace with a tiger pendant that i put around my neck as i walk or drive to my next game. Then i sit down at the table and remove the necklace and wrap it twice around my right wrist. It works for me! Link to post Share on other sites

billywestom 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Share Posted March 7, 2005 There is a lot of action at my local $3-6 game, so very regularlyI get large stacks of chips. I always stack them in $25 stacks, and put them in a specific pattern depending on how many stacks I have. I build a pyramid, and on a good night (winning over $300 or so) I start to stack them two-tiered. I also hold my cards with my left hand while playing, instead of just putting a chip on them. I feel more comfortable about keeping my cards where I can feeel them. In addition to that, I put the higher card on top for hands with a king or an ace, for instance, an ace on top of a king, etc. But for connectors, I put the smaller card on the top, for instance 7 on top of the 8, etc. I know that none of these idiosynchrocies help me win, but they are things I just noticed I do without even thinking about it. I hope my pattern of putting my cards in that order doesn't leak out, just in case others are paying attention!! Link to post Share on other sites
