I know of two more that haven't been mentioned that are from CT. Not to mention, out of 16k posters, I'm guessing there's a few more than 5, from Connecticut. Though 5 does represent a substantial percentage of the entire population of Connecticut.

Will they stop when they get down to the final table today? And how long before this gets aired on ESPN? 8 months? I'm tired of watching all those re-runs of WPT and WSOP events. Is Foxwoods the biggest poker room in the world?born and raised on the mean streets of Monroe CT.

I d34l at Foxwoods. Can't wait to move downstairs.Foxwoods isn't the largest poker room in the world but it is the largest casino in the world in total gaming floor. Even after we move downstairs and expand to 114 tables it won't be the largest poker room. That honor goes to the Commerce Casino with 200+ tables I believe.anyways, good luck to Kid Poker, hope you find something to eat besides Subway : )

Yeah CT is the shi.t. Its too bad theres not too many people on here from CT. Foxwoods is a sick casino. It IS the largest in the world. Hey remember when we had the whalers? Those were good times. Its unfortunate that we dont currently have a professional team but we were very close to having the Patriots.

Man, I guess it's too bad that I forgot to put in that whole thing about there likely being more than 5 people on the entire site from Connecticut. ..I mean, there's more than 5 from Australia, it'd just stand to reason there's more than 5 from Connecticut.Too bad I forgot to mention that. ..Oh Well. And we move on.

The most refreshing sight on day two was Daniel Negreanu reminding people why he was able to dominate tournament poker back in 2004. It's no secret that Negreanu had a disappointing 2005 -- while he earned over $450,000 in tournaments last year, most of it was from his third place finish a year ago here in Tunica. Since last February, Negreanu has only earned about $10,000 in major tournaments. But Negreanu played well on day one, and strengthened on day two, finishing the day in fifth place with $140,000 in chips. Negreanu looks more comfortable in a major tournament than he has in a long time, and that makes him a dangerous player -- especially with chips. Here are the top five chip leaders heading into day three: 1. Don Barton - $244,200 2. Brian Lamkin - $218,900 3. Lee Markholt - $169,600 4. Daniel Alaei - $140,900 5. Daniel Negreanu - $140,000 As one of the most popular players in the game, any success by Negreanu can only help the game of poker. It'll be fun to see how he fares on day three. The remaining 27 players will return for day three on Thursday at 12:00 noon CST. Return to CardPlayer.com for complete live coverage of all the action as these players fight for the nine seats at ESPN's final table.

I stand corrected...Commerce Casino is the Poker Capital of the World with more gaming tables (243) than any other land-based card room globallyAnd the Whalers are the censored... and because of that move Kraft made I to this day hate the patriots... he USED us... GO WOLFPACK... lmao...

Just a hunch but i dont think Daniel is a very happy camper right now after losing 50k. I'm hoping he'll tell us how that happened but don't be shocked if he doesn't. After all, they keep telling us that hes human not robot and does have feelings.
