Kangaroo 0
I think the most annoying thing is 3 outters hitting. Last night in a sit and go uy tries to blind steal 1 before the blinds I see its a steal and raise all in for 1000 more with A6 he says damn i got caught then procedes to call with 62 flop comes 6J2 and thats that.then next game come back from 400 to 2000 bully with monster stack goes all in with AT i call with JJ and he hits two aces.such is poker.the morale of the story is: dont tilt, it's only hurting yourself if your going to do it hit the play money tables or something. erac22 0
sorry to hijack this thread, but i have some downswing questions too. In four sessions of 6 tablin 50 nl, i lost 700 dollars, after building my roll from 50 to 1900. I've gone through 400 dollar downswings, but this one was just aweful. the hands i lost on mainly were floping a set and losing to a flopped or turned straight, flopping a Q or K high flush and losing to the nut flush, and losing a lower fullhouse to a higher one. There were also a fair amount of suckouts (that'll happen) and some hands where i couldn't lay down a big pair. My question is should i be laying down flopped sets and k high flushes? Is this the only way for me to be a winning player or am i just going through a really bad run of cards?thanks in advancecheerserac
KowboyKoop 0
last 1200 hands of holdem I have played, I've seen 210 flops, won 6 hands without a showdown, and won 4 showdowns. That's 1 in every 120 hands for me....WTF!?!??!

I've tried waiting for premium hands, but having QQ against A 4 really help much. I think the cards will fall so that people will win enough big pots to keep them playing and keep the rake coming in at a healthy pace. At least its starting to seemt hat way to me. Or possible there's some cheating going on, perhaps by some insiders out to make a few extra dollars. Whatever the reason, the cards don't matter as much as they should. If done sparingly and only for certain hands, it would not be as easy to detect as many seem to think.Yes, dammit, I've joined the f@#$ing conspiracy theorists. And i'll wear that tinfoil hat with pride. Do your worst. I've seen enough now. I know the truth!.

suicideking 0
As much as I hate to admit it, it does seem like the majority of the time that I get it all in preflop with the best hand I lose. Wheter there is cheating or not, I don't know. I doubt it but it is possible. I just try not to get it all in preflop anymore. Just wait...your fish will come.
