Sushiman 0
I'm not really sure what the raise preflop accomplishes. Why try to steal with a marginal hand when you know villian will likely not allow it. You're out of position and not a lot of flops will be good for you. Flop was pretty crap for you. But continuation bet is okay to see what happens. Turn: You have a great draw now, although the K will be an action killer if you hit it. Bet is fine, although I probably check here cause I'd still not rather be raised.River: Chances are you hit your "gin" card. Raise it up.
Boogie711 0
I'm assuming he hit a boat on you?I see this quite often in loose players... they'll bet and raise all day long until they hit a hand, then they clamp down and call it down until the river - when they go back to raisin' mode. Shimmering Wang 1
What's your concern? River play? If so, the river's fineWang
Abbaddabba 0
That's not really a LAP. 1.7, to my undestanding, is reasonably high for someone with that high a VPIP.And that makes the river 3bet alright. If you think you have no fold equity on the flop, id just check/fold. screech 0
I think you need to change your read from LAP to LAG.I would play the hand the same way you did, and expect to be up against a flush or a weird bluff a lot more than 3 tens. If he had 3 tens, he would have paired the flop, and probably would have raised.
Actuary 3
I like the ambitious PF raise.why are you betting the flop? For value ?I'm good with river 3-bet.I'd imagine we would've heard from a Set or Two Pair before now, and we have the 2nd nut flush.**** read replies ***ok.I'm not against flop bet, btw. Just wondering your reason.
Abbaddabba 0
When you have no fold equity on the flop (by his own reads), i hate the flop bet.If he's feeling so bold as to bluff you off jack high with 9 high or worse, give him a pat on the back. The fact that he never folds the flop means that metagame issues are the least of your concerns against him.
