hudday48 0 Posted November 5, 2005 Share Posted November 5, 2005 Is this still being debated.I think with 99% certainty if you polled the players at the National Headsup Championship (or whatever it was called) That Phil Ivey then Daniel Negreanu were the two most feared players.And that Phil Helmuth wouldn't be ranked in the top 10Go ask a pro who plays the 10k circuit, any of them will agree.This is not to say that Phil is bad, its just that Daniel is better.(I defended Phil in one of the links I posted saying there are few NLHE tournament players better then him. Daniel happens to be one of the twenty+ players I'd put ahead)*And seriously before you bash Matt read what he wrote. He gives facts showing how weak Helmuth's stats are.
