todays card player poker quiz

you should probably include "fold" as one of the poll options since it is what cardplayer recommends?edit: To comment on the question, I would think that calling here and the river is pretty standard

I raise on the flop, and if he reraises me there, I might consider the possibility of him having a four. However, if I had just called on the flop and am facing that exact situation, I don't think there is enough information to really determine either way, so with the pot size, I probably just call down.

Does anyone else like this play, I dont like it AT ALL.  I may be missing something but I hate it with a passion.  Any thoughts??http://www.cardplayer.com/pokerquiz.php
I would think that you should four bet if you are planning on calling the river. That way, you gain implied odds if your king does happen to fall on the river, and it also gives you better pot odds to call if a blank does indeed come instead. Also, although the player is in the small blind, what kind of hand could he have with a four in it that would allow him to call out of the small blind when there is an early limper and then a middle position raise. This is just my opinion of course but if I was in this situation that's what I would do. Not to mention the fact our opponent would more likely have a hand like A-Q in this situation and he is out of position.

I voted for call down, but after reading this, I think that the 4-bet is a decent option as well. I also HATE the flop call, b/c it gives us no information about the hand. I've never played 20/40, and I think it depends alot on the game, but in a hand with only three people in it, I think cardplayer's advice is incredibly weak. The only plausible hand I can think of is A4 and I just don't see him having this enough to justify folding. I think we're assuming way too much about his hand if we fold here.*edit* All of this I think is absent reads, I don't think we can fold without a solid read on the villain.
