Are people really panicking about this? Go onto the forum, and read how many dipshits are spending time trying to make these things borderline functional. One guy stated his win wate was roughly 1 BB/100. 1 BB??? Apparently, these bots are in a race to see who can become the most mediocre player on PP.The only thing about these bots that worries me is the publicity might drive away bad players. That's it, that's all. I don't have enough patience to sit there and program some fucking app to do something I can already do myself reasonably well. And I'm pretty sure that's the case for the vast majority of players.One last thing: Go play a bot in backgammon. There are usually a ton on the FIBS server. Some of them are really good, some of them are unbelievably shitty. And the ratio is skewed toward the latter.

I look forward to the day that I can play at a table full of bots that communicate their hold cards to any player they believe is a fellow bot. A chance to truly test the Fundamental Theorem of Poker.
