Dale is good at these..He will come up with something.. it will depend on the location of the draft... I hope we change it up a bit this time and have it somewhere else...Here is my picks: 1. Las Vegas Obvious choice..It would be epic to spend a few days with everyone in Vegas....Hockey Draft, gambling, Poker...Degeneracy... 2. Cottage I thought about this idea...We all get together and rent a cottage for the weekend...Make a weekend out of it...Have some poker playing, drink some beers...See how long Roy can stay sober...Cost wouldnt be too much if we get 20 guys...Sleeping arrangements would be based on standings...Champion gets the best bed...Last place guy gets a sleeping bag in the basement..And so on.. 3. Casino Niagara/ Rama/ Windsor Close enough to keep expenses down...We get rooms and make a night or weekend out of it...I am sure the hotel would be able to give us a conference room...We only get to see each other once a year..I think lot of fun can be had. Yeah I am not doing the cottage thing. Did it once, never again. My friends invited me to their cottage. A bunch of guys, poker, sports, sounds like fun. No. It was the worst. There was no real electricity, there was a generator. So that meant no cable, there was no tv, no wifi, my phone didn't get 3G, it was horrendous. The washroom didn't actually flush, you had to pour a bucket of water into it or something, so confusing. No air conditioning. Fun was considered sitting in a boat in the heat not catching fish. Sitting around the fire at night with all the Mosquitos. There was no delivery. We ate hot dogs and chips. You shower in the god damn lake with some biodegradable soap. I had to sleep on a bunk bed my room had two bunk beds, so we had 4 ppl in a single room. Yeah, never again. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
