Babying 613
Just got off the phone with a client. While she is hot she does have very low intelligence on her tax return. My god I spent 30 mins on the phone with her explaining something that she had no clue what I said.

Develop a system of comparing writeoffs to purses, you'll get her attention if you're describing the LV bag she can buy with her return. That's how I used to get away with buying pistols and rifles, I just added a $450 Coach tax to the overall purchase price.

digitalmonkey 929
Anyone know the police protocol when responding to a 911 call in a public place? When they park the police car do they leave the lights flashing?
ajs510 122
Around here it completely depends on the impression they want to make when they roll up and the nature of the incident they were called about. For instance, if they were responding to a cow in the street, no lights would be necessary unless they were diverting traffic.

Any time they stop on the street I'm pretty sure they will put the lights on if it's dark out.
iBeaver 409
I was coming home one night a few years back and at that time I parked in the street and my wife took the driveway. So it was like 5:56pm and instead of turning down my street I turned down another street so that could drive around the block and be able to just drive to my street spot without having to do a turn in the driveway etc etc. Well the street that I drive down had a sign, no turn onto the street from 8am-6pm. Cop was hiding in bushes. I get home, park and get out of car and he comes and pulls in behind me and tells me over loudspeaker to get back in my car. Wtf. He comes out and tells me that I made a illegal turn. I looked at clock and it's now 6:01. Give me a break. Also just moved 2 weeks prior and hadn't gotten a new DL so he tells me to sit tight and goes back to his car and then turns on his lights! So all the neighbors come running out to see me get 2 tickets. Illegal turn and not changing address on DL. But him turning his lights on after pissed me off. Well that was a long useless story. I'm out if practice.

Babying 613
Cops are useless. I had a client who has a son who nearly became a cop. At the last moment he decides to quit before graduation. That was 5 years ago. The guy is a complete utter loser. He is a security guard for an old age home. Also does not want to pay support for his 2 kids

MapleLeafpoker 1,462
Armen, who some of you have met in Vegas, was a cop for about 4/5 years. (Ya, that guy) He was pretty much meant to be a cop, diffused every situation during our childhood/teenage years, perfect temperment, deceivingly strong....but he quit, because he just didnt like the attitude needed to do the job. I cant imagine what a letdown it must have been for him after years of dreaming about becoming a cop, and putting in the work to get there.
Babying 613
I'm not clear on why all cops are useless because that one kid is a washout and ultimately a loser. LOL. Okay I put all cops together and assume they are all the same. I got hassled by a cop 2 weeks ago because I had a handicap sign on my car (it is for my mother). He came up and asked me what my handicap was. I told him it was for my mother. He then turn it over and sure enough it was in her name. He then continue to hassle me for 5 mins threatening to give me a ticket etc. I told him I am guilty and if you want give me the ticket. I have no excuse to drive around with the handicap sign on my window. It was an error by me and I guess I have to suffer the consequences. He then said don't make the same mistake and rode off on his bike. All this time he was asking me if the car belong to me and he ran the plate. He also asked me if I owned my SUV. I know I dress like a bum but hey I can since I want to.
