dabetka 0
Just read on some site that Bodog, Carbon, and Lock are still taking US money. Anyone else tried one of these or is everyone scared sh.tless right now? I mean, I don't know if its even smart to be putting money in a site right now or what?

I am spending Easter wkend @ the inlaws so I REALLY need something to do. Any help is appreciated. Also, is it even safe to try playing elsewhere till all of this other sh.t is figured out?As far as I know Cake is for sure (I have $10 on there from a long time ago, so I've been grinding that a bit. I think Carbon is also accepting US players still. I'm sure there are smaller sites besides those, but that's all I know/trust.As far as being safe, it is really your discretion. I personally don't think it is smart to send money to a different site until I at least see my PokerStars money. I've decided not to deposit on any sites until something happens with regulation though, because I just don't wanna go through another ordeal like this. Who knows IF and WHEN the DOJ will go after these smaller sites that are filling the void. I know it could be a long time until something positive happens, but hopefully a few casino trips and the little bit of money I already had on Cake will get me through. TwstdWrstr 10
Everleaf network is an option as well. Do some research in the internet poker forum on 2+2 you'll find a ton of info there.I gotta agree with Domer tho I think its best to lay low for a while and see what pans out whenever we get our PS/FTP funds back. I also used the http://rakeback.rakerobber.com/ for rakeback. How do I know that I am getting rakeback to work?

Yoda 1
Hmmm, I logged into my ole bodog account and found 1870 player points which apparently converts to $18.70 cash. Back in the game! God it sure does suck though to be playing .02-.05 when i'm used to 1/2 or 2/4 :-/

dabetka 0
you've played 8 games.Lol, I know, it's just funny, it seems like the play/ers are really not good. It probly has something to do with the stakes too. I usually play 25 dollar six man nlhe turbos. I'm playing 5 dollars now on carbon. I just won 2 more. With 10 in, my roi is now 170%. Time to quit my day job! YAHTZEE!
DiamondDixie 12
Carbon is as safe as you're going to find right now. Carbon/Merge is fairly solid as far as I know. I've played off and on at Carbon for almost 2 years and never had a problem. Of course I've never tried to withdraw but I think it's fine. Their customer service has always been pretty good, but they're a bit overrun right now so you have to be patient. The software isn't great but it's the best of what we have left. I'm not going to stop playing but I'm not putting much money on any site for now. Is there anyone around here who played on Party Poker before they left? If so how was that as compared to now? I know PokerStars was already doing a decent business but wasn't Full Tilt relatively new at that point and had most of their growth after Party Poker pulled out? I'd just be interested to hear how then compares to now as far as how people were feeling and how they felt about changing and depositing on another site then.
solderz 0
I have set up both bodog and carbon poker accounts in last couple weeks. I had success depositing with both using a simple visa card. Bodog has absolutely horrendous software and have pathetic tournament selection (nl holdem only). Carbon I like much better. More similar to PS, which i am used to. Better tourney selection and more action on the cash tables there also. I recommend carbon, using a credit card deposit option. Easy, and you can keep the deposit small if you fear the US moving in on other sites.
