Cop's Official Nhl Playoff Odds

Recommended Posts

Tough year, not many overlays.first number is odds (to one) to win the Conference, second to win the Cup:East:Boston 8.6/20Washington 24.1/81NJ 8.5/16Philly 2.6/6Pitt 4.7/8Carolina 6.3/14Rangers 6.0/15Montreal 65/300Based on one website there are only three decent overlays for the East, Philly at 8:1 and Rangers and Carolina at 15:1. I hate the top 3's chances. For the Cup Philly at 20:1 and Rangers at 40:1.I dont know what the standard site is, those Cup odds look high and the overlays might not even be that good.West:SJS 2.5/5Det 12.2/30Canucks 4.1/10Chicago 3.2/6.5Calgary 43/150St. Louis 17.7/55Columbus 12.6/40Anaheim 7.7/45The Conference overlays are Chicago at 8:1, St Louis at 50:1 (high variance!) Columbus at 25:1. I dont really like any of them except Chicago, the winner is very likely coming out of the top 4. Overlays for the Cup, Chicago at 14:1 and Vancouver at 16:1.First round I really like Carolina and the Rangers as underdogs. Philly/Pitt is going to be a very interesting series and the winner probably wins the Conference. A shame they play each other in the first round.First round in the West I like SJS, Vancouver and Chicago. I have Detroit as the only higher seed losing.Going to look for that "Tampa will make the playoffs thread"!!!

good news: you're still alivebad news: your investment in the RTE has lost about 70%
the alive part was touch and go (seriously). The RTE wouldnt go too far agaisnt the med bills anyway lol.the odds I posted are my proprietary methods that have won 8 out of 10 years, 9 out of 12 years...but usually there are some bigger overlays. Ill entertain bets, yes, though obviously Im not laying grossly more than online odds.

You really think Biron is a guy who can get it done in the playoffs, Cop?
The East doesnt have a ton of experience in net overall. Biron has seen a ton of shots and those should get cranked down in the playoffs. If they cant slow down your guys then could lose in a long series, but if they get past Pitt I dont see much to challenge them. I only have them 54:43 over Pittsburgh and if it goes to 7 todays game could hurt them. But Ill be just as happy with a Pitt/Rangers conference final :club:

Again, why would I give you better odds than you can get at a sportsbook, except for the vig? Just beware if you take the Vegas/online odds you are getting way the worst of it.

I still dont get it..What is the purpose of these lines you set, if you wont take action on them. The habs at bowmans right now are being offered at 33-1 to win the Cup..You are offering 300-1The Capitals are 10-1, you are offering 81-1The Canucks you actually have dead on 10-1

His whole theory revolves around goaltending.Luongo > Osgood/Conklin, therefore, Vancouver has a better chance. (Although it's not 'that' simple)

The goaltending theory in the playoffs will go a long way..No one is talking New Jersey, but they have to be the favourite in the East.
