Free 2 Or 3 Nights At The Venetian

Recommended Posts

I just got an offer in the mail from the Venetian offering me two or three nights for free at the Venetian or Palazzo based on availability. I read all the fine print and it doesn't say any requirements such as two nights free if I pay for 2 more or anything like that. I've heard that Vegas is getting desperate for people to go there lately and have been offering free rooms like this. Has anyone else gotten this or have any info I might need to find out? I have been on hold with the V for like 20 mins now, wondering if anyone else knows about this.

Ok now time to find a flight. Anyone have any tips on best sites/airlines to fly from Detroit to Las Vegas? I always feel like I'm not finding the best deals when I fly. Also, the offer is good from now til June 30th, so my dates are wide open in that time frame. Maybe I should offer stakes or money for the stake whores to do my leg work in this department.

Southwest FTW...they do not show up on travelocity,expedia,etc..and have very reasonable rates.Check in 24hour prior online for A status, as this is open seating airline

They've already got you on the hook? I never get offered anything from the casinos I always go to/stay at.

The V gave me 4 free nights plus some other incentives. They also offered me $100 slot credit if I cash my tax refund check there...lol
Yeah, they also offered $150 in slot or table play and a 2 for 1 pass for their spa. Prolly going to go around wife's B day in April.

I just got back from flying Detroit to Las Vegas, I took American Airlines and didn't have any complaints and it was a decent price. I think something like $268 roundtrip, maybe a bit more with fees and taxes. My last two flights have been on AA and were both cheap and comfortable.

I've heard spiritair has good prices.
They do. I've flown Spirit. Dirt cheap deal w/ Mandalay Bay stay. The flight is horrific though with bad customer service (I paid for exit row seats because I'm 6'2 200 Lbs and wanted the extra leg room and didn't get it on the flight there. I called customer service and they basically told me too bad and they couldn't guarantee it for the return trip or offer a refund either. gg $60. Also no inflight movie. Wtf?

I've also flown AA and have no complaints. Will likely do them again.

i've flown detroit to vegas many times and this actually seems a bit high. I've gone through a expedia a few times and find if you use the "try surrounding days" feature, you can save a good chunk of money. flying on day like Mon-Wed is definately cheaper than flying Thurs-Sat, i also find that leaving Monday is cheaper than leaving on Sun, but i'm not sure about flying in.Stay away from the last minute idea, i had one of the guys on my hubby's pool team do this one year, thinking he would get a much better rate and ended up paying double and because he "had" to be there, he had no choice. I mean, if you see a good price and can leave tomorrow, its fine, but if you make reservations, make sure you have your flight in place first.i've never paid more than $240 for a flight (including taxes, fees, etc) and i don't do stopovers (taking off and landing once each way is good enough for me).I've always flown NW (although we did suncountry 2x, once we paid for, the 2nd time it was free) Spirit can be cheap if you can find both ways at a decent price whatever you find, gl and have fun
