antistuff 0
stick with whatever works for you. I think you could make more cash faster playing six max, but you'd also have to fade the variance. I'm also a hoosier and am hoping I can convince the wife to let me play in the $345 O8 tournament on the 29th. Anyone wanna stake me? i might buy a piece of you. pm me with more info about the tournament.
Shark527 0
1) Run good.2) Don't run bad. I guess I should have read this one earlier. Holy Christ I ran horrible today. This goal went down in roaring flames. Tried playing in 7 SNG's and small buy in MTTs, busted every one. Only once did I get my money in behind and the beats kept comin. Two of them almost physically hurt.......(top pair and NFD < running offsuit turn/river 7's, AKs all in pre vs. A3 and 3 makes running flush)..... Just one of those nights....ah well, it's only money.RELOAD!Maybe I'll try a similar goal live this weekend at the local casino with a small buyin at a cash game and grind up. profxavier9 0
just for a fun a year or so ago. I turned 3$ into 3000 12 tabling 5./.10 and taking shots at 5-10$ tourneys with cash game winnings. The thing is i was probably stuck between the 10-200$ up and down for about 6 months maybe more. Shark527 0
Since I did not make my long shot online goal, I just put aside some money for this tournament next week, no biggie. Running late to work last week and get pulled over and fined a speeding ticket that ate up the majority of my tourney buy in I put aside. Thought it was pretty funny, I am just NOT going. Drwnded 0
My advice: Four-table playing $25 NLHE 9player ring games. Fold every hand except the following - Shove preflop with AA, KK. Limp with any pair, and fold on the flop if you miss your set, shove if you hit it. That's it.Chances are you'll end up where you want to be.
