Backslider 0
The 10k Mixed Championship starts tonight, right? This seems like a great event for Daniel. Does anyone know for sure if he is going to play, regardless of how the 1k rebuy is going?Fantasy rosters will be affected!(I am also wondering about chip-leader-Ivey... )Backslider

I believe Ivey has been quoted as saying the side actions tempt him so much that he cant play good in the smaller events..Thats why he has a ton of side action for a bracelet
Jariso13 1
Barry Greenstein took extra chances in the rebuy (I believe that was the tourney, I watched the blog last night) and skipped the next 2 tourneys to play this one. But, I cant see a pro who is nearing in a a final table busting somewhat intentionally just to start a new event, especially with the bracelet bets going on.
Backslider 0
I'm just wondering if he'll try to do both. It is a 10k event, so 20k in chips could last awhile. If he just played it on breaks or whatever? He really should be in this event. I would tend to think that he at least had a little bit of influence on having such an event added to the schedule. I'm sure PStars is putting up the money anyway, right? I will be surprised if he isn't in it.Backslider
CodyHartman 0
I havent been around much lately, so this whole bracelet side bet thing is a bit foriegn to me. I read something in DN's blog, but can someone point me to a better understanding of all this. Including Ivey's bets.thanks in advance for helping someone out of the loop. I read something in DN's blog, but can someone point me to a better understanding of all this. Including Ivey's bets.thanks in advance for helping someone out of the loop.I don't know all the details but there are a few different types of bracelet bets.Ivey and Daniel have a heads up bet where if one wins a bracelet the other owes $200K, 2 bracelets $400K etc. If they both win the same number of bracelets then the bet is a push.Ivey also has bets that he'll win a bracelet this year and is getting odds on it. I don't know all the details but a bet on something like this could work where if Ivey wins a bracelet the other side owes him $400K and if Ivey doesn't win a bracelet this year he would owe $200K depending on the odds. You could also have a first to win a bracelet bet with somebody where the first person to win one wins the bet.You could also crossbook with somebody in a tournament where you owe that person whatever they win or a percentage of it in that event and they owe you the same based on how you did. I could see him buying in and just forgetting about it, and then if he's knocked out of the rebuy go play the 10K.
