If that's true, is it a good idea to stack off preflop this early in a trournament when I'm sitting on a decent number of chips?

If you have the opportunity to get all in with aces, you do it every time. There's very little skill in PLO sit and gos anyway, so you really have no incentive to avoid gambling in such situations.

I agree with dingas. I personally doubt PLO is a game for tournaments.
why is that? Big blinds forcing to much preflop action?

I would guess so. Omaha hands are not near as dominating as HE preflop so as the blinds get bigger you will be forced to flip quite often. Flipping = no skillSome of my favorite moments have been playing the PLO turbo's on FTP though. Good times. Good times.
