Vade 0
10-15I'd lean towards the high end for a shorthanded game.If you're making just a side trip to the casino or something, you certainly don't have to bring 10-15 buyins with you (like my trip to Vegas)If you're playing live even twice a week, then you'd better have the proper bankroll.Online, 10 will probably be okay, but 15 is more apt to handle the variance
akishore 0
i prefer 20 myself, 25 for a more aggressive or shorthanded game.aseem

speedz99 145
I tried to explain proper bankroll and variance to a friend once. He put together his 300BB, and proceeded to lose it all.I guess I forgot to mention that you have to be better than your opponents in order to win money.

CobaltBlue 662
I'm quite glad that variance didn't catch up to me when I first began playing. Deposited $20 and played .05/.10 NL. Eventually built up $500 and moved to .25/.50 NL. Got as high as 2/4 before having to cash out a huge chunk of bankroll. Looking forward to getting back up there one day.
