I would let it go. That is a serious show of strength. I don't know what you would really be beating. That turn card didn't seem to scare him much.

Meh, I'm rusty, but a 70/23/3 guy is by definition super aggro. An AF of 3 with those preflop stats is very big and suggests he plays a wide range of hands fast on the flop. When he checkraises pot on the flop, I think he's going to open shove pretty much any turn, and I think he is shoving 100% of his range on this particular turn.

Yeah, I'm folding here. I mean we can hope has has a lower two pair. But I'm thinking he has a set here with that much strength. Villain checks hoping you bet, raises from there, and then firing that much into the pot on the turn, he wants to get hearts out of there. Make a stand with at a different time

Well, I think he's got a set. So we're drawing to a straight or boat. Do the math and you'll see it's not a profitable call. But wtf do I know, I'm a losing player in omaha.

That's where PTO/Pahud etc comes in handy (for the doubters - that pot just paid for both....).Like simo said, against a 70/30/3 type, I thought this was a pretty standard call. He shouldn't have QQ or 88 since I have one of each. Imo, 95% of the time he has either hearts or some middle straight draw (99TJ, etc) here. The 6d was a pretty good turn card for me. Against a 25/10/1.7 this would be a whole other decision on the turn.

Granted I saw the results, but if we call against this guy on the flop it's because we think our hand is probably good. That offsuit 6 on the turn is pretty much a blank, so we can't fold when he continues with an all in turn bet.

Why do we flat call flop?
If he is shoving any turn with any hand (fairly likely imo) then flat calling flop and calling any turn is pretty much the same in equity as shoving flop.By calling we can sometimes fold if a heart comes. We just get a little more information before stacking off.I probably still shove the flop though.

If he is drawing to a heart , pushing flop and making him pay > waiting for a heart and folding IMO.I don't think it makes a huge difference either. Calling is maybe good for getting away cheap if he has a set and a scare card for him drops on turn.
